The office staff when checking and checking out are always very friendly and my wait time is also very reasonable. I would say I’m usually in and out in under an hour or quicker. I first went to Dr. J because the research I did online suggested that she is very competent. Well, now I am contributing to the online information by writing that I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. J for your dermatology needs. Dr. J found an issue that had been missed by another dermatologist and took care of it quickly and expertly. She has great rapport with me as a patient, and I totally trust her, something that isn't said lightly.

I entered my name in their website to have the staff call me back to schedule an appointment. They called back the next day but my voicemail recorded the receptionist talking to someone else in the office. I called back to schedule an appointment and was told they're schedule new clients for Jan appointments. It's September. You need a whole quarter to get an appointment. Really? I'm insured by Anthem who has quality programs to recognize physicians who perform well with coordinating care, operate in facilities recognized for exceling in the delivery of care and are efficient at delivering care. Comprehensive Dermatology of LB PC doesn't have any of these recognitions. There's plenty of specialist serving Long Beach, accepting new patients (within a reasonable timeframe) that do meet the quality recognitions. I'm not sure why the wait time is so long for a facility with lesser rating.

The Dr was very professional and kind. Made me very at ease with my issue. I have already recommended her to a friend. I drove all the way from Chino Hills to see her on the recommendation of my sister and brother in law who live in Seal Beach! Worth the drive! I will be bringing my kids back to her soon....
