Dr. Jimmy Edmond, MD

Poor bedside manners, ignores the patient while clicking off codes on medicare forms that are on the computer. Does not really get to know the patient. After 2 visits my wife and I will be going elsewhere for primary care. We wasted our time and money at this "care center."

2 hrs really... No more needs to be said.... Switched to a new Dr... Never been past 15 minutes wait time. Unless you have a whole day off....

Always takes time to chat and ask questions about me in general. Goes over recent tests and overall health. Very pleasant and courteous and most important to me, I consider him NOT a pill pusher as some are known to do. I do recommend him often.

I've been a patient of Dr. Jimmy for over 15 years, and as witnessed by the duration have no issues with his service, and would not hesitate to recommend. He always has time to listen to your issues/s, and then discuss options going forward.

Have been with Dr. Edmond for 4 years, since moving to Florida. He has shown himself to be capable and is professional. I have to agree with others that the wait time is unacceptable, but I think all doctors in this area are that way. He is close by, and on my insurance plan, so I'll keep going. He could pay a bit more attention to my statements about pain, not big on suggesting pain meds, or a detailed discussion of alternates that might help me.

He has been the worse doctor I have experienced. He never truly focuses on what your real problems are he just wants to write what he wants, He does not listen or try to figure out whats truly wrong with you his ecxuse is always your obese . I cant even get blood work I need done like it's going to hurt him. Worse care ever

If you don't have health insurance go elsewhere he does not accept cash payment.this guy will send you all over town with referrals and doesn't draw blood in the office. I experienced high Medicare copays.at least higher than my former doctor.office staff needs more training.i am going back to my old doctor. Dr Jimmy was convient

Only because I can't give 0 stars. Just spoke with quite an unpleasant girl on the phone, named Ashley. Ashley told me that because I had Edmond's office share my blood results with another doctor, they won't see me as they consider that a change of doctors and he won't ever see anyone if they change doctors. I happen to use two doctors because I work so far from home and can't always just get to one doctor. Ashley specifically said that Dr. Edmond's policy is he won't take any patients back. The weird part is I never changed doctors, I just asked for blood work to be sent to another doctor so I didn't have to pay to have it done again. After explaining this, Ashley put me on hold and checked with her office manager. She said the office manager, who refused to get on the phone, stated I could not be seen. So just beware, apparently we can't share and play nice with others...

This supposed doctor is not board certified. He has never checked my ears, throat, he checks for pain while you are sitting and asks if you have pain then answers the question for you which is no to him. If you tell him you have pain it is ignored. He has never taken blood pressure himself or recheck after nurse. Desperately look for a real doctor.

I don't know if these people met the same Doctor as I did by the reviews, but Dr Edmond was wonderful. He sat and went through my exam results thoroughly and answered all questions I had. The environment was comfortable and the staff makes me feel welcomed everytime I have an appointment. If you are looking for a doctor that really cares, Dr Edmond is where to go.

2 hour wait time, rude, talked for 5 minutes. Finding another doctor.

Ridiculous wait times usually 2 hours past appointment time, then he rushes the visit, and sets a follow up 3 months down the road. Not just once, this has been every appointment.

Do yourself a favor DON'T go there!

This doctor seems rushed, types constantly during office visit, provides the speediest of physical exams and communicates very little. I felt rushed to sign his lengthy printed summary of each visit with barely time to read it. He did not inspire confidence. I went elsewhere.

Dr "Howdy" Jimmy is more intetrested in talking to himself or to his computer than he is in talking to his patient or listening to his patient. And he DOES NOT LIKE TO BE QUESTIONED or challenged. I wish I had stopped seeing him after my second office visit, but I had had a serious accident and needed a PCP. My last, most recent, visit will probably be my last. One key clerical staff member is very courteously challenged. Thank goodness for Ashley

Talks to the computer screen, no interest in the patient, never any recall of prior visit, flip flops on diagnosis.

Had to fire him do to the fact he refuse to go along with my otho recomendation for therapy, he would only give me 4 meetings when my health care provider stated 16 could be used. If u are on an hmo he get over $800 per month to provide care, but once you leave his system he losses money and he doesn't like that. Took 7 hours for his office to get the paper work done to get me discharged out of the hospital. He spend more time typing his converstion with you than looking at you. And will alway add to your file "talked to patient about risks". There is a hour wait to see him even with appointment.

Once Dr. Edmond gets to know you and you health status you have to bring up matters to him that you may not understand because he tends to assume that you fully understand what he reviews with you. He does listen if you ask questions and explain your concerns. just be assertive.
