Dr. Joanne Elizabeth Langton, MD

Ordered excessive testing, multiple thyroid scans. For a hypothyroid consult, she was sweet and nice when talking about how I felt, but completely left me in the dark as to what tests were being run and why. When tests came back normal, she felt obligated to diagnose me with testosterone issues? Again, more testing and expensive treatments. Thankfully, I went for a second opinion that confirmed I did not have hypothyroidism, the ultrasounds were not needed, and most importantly, I did not have low testosterone. All this from a board certified endocrinologist? No thank you.

Dr. Langton is a very knowledgeable Dr. I had seen several Drs.over the years. Everyone kept telling me there wasn't anything wrong with my thyroid because my blood tests came back ok but I knew something was wrong. Dr. Langton listened to me and sent me to a surgeon my thyroid had nodules and a goiter on it. She is very caring and listens to her patients. It's rare to find a Doctor that will do that this day and time.

Totally confused. No introduction, few questions, totally engaged. I'm sick, have had constant care and needed specialist. She gave no reassurance about getting to issues. Hope her lack of bedside manner means she's an awesome doc, e.g. trade off! Disappointed, big time!

Dr. Langton has been treating me for 3 years. She is the most caring and understanding doctor that I see. I never have a long wait and she is always interested in how I feel. She lets me take a hands on approach to my medical needs. Her most important quality is that she actually listens to what I tell her. She knows that a patient has a understanding of their disease and knows their body the best and uses that information to treat.

DR.Langton is one of the most caring,compasionate, and professional Doctors that I have ever been to in the sixty two years that I have been alive.She not only treats your body,she also cares about your quality of life dealing with diabetes.
