Will never go back there. Had the procedure done by another doctor and it was painless.

I saw this physician while she was on call at the hospital. She was rude and condescending. She disregarded my pain level during contactions and told me not to stop my life for them (while being just shy of 38 weeks gestation). I would rather deliver at home then let this doctor touch me.

Was patient couple years ago. Emily the receptionist is just mean person! CEO screams at his staff, and at people on the phone. Everything is all about billing. Brittany Frisela Is a joke. I waited 20 minutes in the office as she stood on the door and joked and talked about starbucks with staff members. When she finally came in she was just telling me about how a baby will ruin my body give me black lines and strechmarks.... nobody asked her anything nor was it a concern of mine.... I called towards end of pregnancy because I had very itchy palms of hands and feet it lasted days I couldn't do anything to helP it. Called the office to let them know. My belly was also shrinking the last 3 weeks of pregnancy and everyone said it's fine it was not a problem, and my vitals were fine. They said my itching might be just dry skin. Didn't test urin because they felt that it was not necessary. And went to labor with the end because I measured way too small and found my placenta had dried. Baby was not getting nutrition at all because it dried so much it shrunk... changed doctors never ever referring this place to anybody. Awful staff awful care. They all gossip too like kids and talk about other patients. Over heard doctor and Emily saying a patient had a infection from c cection scar because she is so fat!

I would not recommend Dr. Holbrook to my worst enemy. At 24 weeks I saw her for the first time. I had been previously seeing the nurse practitioner which is perfectly fine because that's how most places do it, and she was a very nice person. When Holbrook walked into the room she did not even introduce herself. She was extremely rude to me, and by the end of the appointment I was hysterically crying. I was trying to tell her my conditions and she was basically calling me a liar about how I was feeling. The to top it off she didn't give me any advice on what I should be doing. She is definitely not the doctor that will be delivering my child. I feel so uncomfortable with her and she strikes me as the kind of person that would make you suffer in labor if you said something she doesn't like. I also heard from nurses that she talks about her patients to other office staff a lot and to me that is just way to unprofessional. I am not a sensitive person so if she had me feeling that way then that's a problem. AVOID HER!

I like Dr. Holbrook, it's her staff that I don't care for. I always end up seeing a nurse practitioner. Their billing woman is awful and rude. The front desk staff is also quite rude. The practitioner misdiagnosed me repeatedly through my pregnancy. I was unaware of a small balance, and sent to collections after years with them. Sadly, I won't be going back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Holbrook for over 20 years and consider her one of the best physicians I have. She is very knowledgeable and up to date on procedures. I wouldn't judge a doctor's competence by their office staff. However, if I did have a problem with the staff I would certainly report this to Dr. Holbrook. Also, very few Dr's meet with you prior to an exam but she does. She is one of the best gynecologist/OB's in the Rockford area. I hope she never retires!!!

I have been going to Dr. Holbrook for over 16 years. She is not judgmental and she does tell it like it is. I have never had a problem with the staff they have always been very good to me. My daughter had her till her insurance changed and she loved her. The baby had to be taken in an emergency C section and Dr. Holbrook was wonderful.

Dr. Holbrook has a nice bedside manner. Too bad she's so good she accepts hardly any insurance plans... I had to switch after seeing her for 10 years because of that.

The priority at this office seems to revolve around billing not patient care. The staff is rude, lacking compassion and unhelpful.

Dr Holbrook has very poor bedside manner I would not recommend her, her staff is her only saving grace. Will not use her again.

Not at all happy with Dr. Jodi Holbrook! Found her too be very rude, making unprofessional, unnecessary comments. No compasion - awful bedside manner. Would NEVER go back to her!!

We were mislead by a nurse practitioner that I was not allowed to continue my workout regimen and that from now on I could walk, swim, or do yoga... even though I am an avid athlete. The OB later told us that was ridiculous and of course I can continue. The nurse practitioner then misinformed us about the availability of early screening tests to detect the likelihood of major disabilities in the baby. She stated that no tests were available until 15 weeks of pregnancy and not one day sooner. We were later told by the OB that this is untrue and that there was a critical screening available at 11-13 weeks. From the first visit, the staff was eager to discuss the cost of pregnancy/delivery. Each subsequent visit, we were greeted and then promptly became a conversation about patient responsibility. Since our insurance covers 100% of prenatal office visits, labs and ultrasounds, we were eternally confused. That is when we learned that their billing practice is to bill one lump sum which is actually coded as a surgical procedure. This makes the entire cost an 80/20 coverage and requires us to pay out of our deductible. After several discussion with our insurance company who assured us that we should not pay for office visits, etc. and communicating this to the office, we came to an impasse at which Dr. Holbrook stated she would not be flexible in her billing practices in order to retain us as patients.

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR.HOLBROOKS FOR A LONG TIME AND I THINK SHE IS GREAT. SHE DOESN'T BEAT AROUND THE BUSH SHE GETS TO THE POINT AND SHE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT FOUND MY 10CM CYST ON MY OVARY. HER STAFF ON THE OTHER HAND THAT WAS NEEDING SOME ATTENTION, BUT SHE HAS NEW STAFF NOW AND THEY SEEM TO BE VERY GOOD. WAS JUST THERE 1 WK AGO AND IN AND OUT IN NO TIME.

I went through breast cancer last year and decided to have my oavaries removed for precautionary reasons. Had to wait one month just for an appointment to go talk to her about the surgery and to schedule it. I paid my $35 co-pay and then was brought right back. The nurse came in asked about having a hystorectomy and I said that is not what I wanted, I just wanted my ovaries out. Then the doc came in and said the same thing and followed with saying how long I'd be in the hospital and off work. Talking so fast I could barely get in the fact that I wasn't wanting that. She then rushed me through any questions I was trying to come up with like she was just trying to get me the heck out of there. She did even ask where I was with my cancer treatment or anything in regards to my cancer. She had me in and out in 5 minutes. To me that was ridiculous for an appointment that was a very big decision for me and she sure didn't seem to care. I demanded my co-pay back, which I got, and told them not to bother scheduling my surgery.

I had the worst experience with this clinic, and not the doctors/nurses, but with the staff. I called to get some very basic answers to billing questions- and somehow that was a problem and I was referred to the CEO, Wesley Street. This man, supposedly the manager of this "Christian" clinic, was the most rude, mean, downright disgusting person I have ever talked to. Immediately he was on my case about why I was calling, wouldn't let me finish a sentence, twisting my words. I started the conversation to only get the price of an office visit, and I ended the conversation shaken and crying. He hung up on me, I tried calling back twice and he said this conversation was "over" and hung up on me again. I went over to the office, to see if I could talk to this man, but he told me I had 10 seconds to get off his property before he called the police. Sounds like a place you'd want to go to, right? And he's a Christian?This man has no business being the manager of any business, especially this clinic. I would never recommend going here, unless you like being treated like a criminal by the unfriendly, incompetent staff, especially Mr. Wesley Street. He should be ashamed of himself.

I was really surprised to see the ratings on Dr. Holbrook; I have seen her four times over the past four years for routine visits and have always had good service. I have been very impressed with the doctors bedside manner. She most take notes in my file regarding things we chat about during my visit because a year later she will ask questions regarding my work, kids, travels etc. She does not rush me out the door, she asks if I have any concerns or questions and makes me feel at ease. I am going to see her in a few weeks and will update my views if needed, but as of now, I would highly recommend her.

Clinic setting, you may be assigned to any Dr. who works at the clinic at your appointments depending on who is there. You will not be told ahead of time if your Dr. is out delivering when you arrive you will just be told you are seeing someone else. I didn't see Dr. Holbrook until almost 32 weeks pregnant despite her being my Dr. During delivery she came and then went to deliver at another hospital, I never saw her from around 10am that morning until I was getting ready to deliver the next morning, in fact I was ready to deliver and we had to wait for her to arrive at the hospital. The delivery went well, she did a good job, not very personable or anything but professional. If you are looking for an experienced Dr. who has served many patients then go to her. If you want a more personable experience and want to know your Dr. and see the same Dr at each visit then this Dr. is not for you. Luckily Dr. Holbrook was oncall during the time I delivered or I would have had whomever was on the rotation for the clinic. Oh and the other comment someone made about the billing is totally true, they are aweful, you have to pay an unreasonable amount of money upfront before you have your child and then dependent on what your maximum out of pocket expenses are will determine your co-pay at each visit...........ours was like 500 up front and then 200 at each visit,,,,,,,totally ridiculous and they won't budge on it either!

If you are sensitive to pain, find another doctor. She won't touch you and will send you packing not caring if you live or die!
