Dr. Joel Harborth Hurt, MD

Dr. Hurt is one of the most polite, caring Doctors I have ever seen. He did Hamstring surgery on me and I'm waiting to have Rotator Cuff Surgery. His Staff is excellent. He really does care about his patients.

I highly recommend Dr. Hurt and his amazing practice for anyone with orthopedi care and concerns! He is the best doctor I've been seen by. I arrived at my recent appointment only 24 hours earlier! Very anxious about my MRI results. They reminded me it was on the nexr day but looking at my condition worked me into their patient schedule due to a cancellation. The level of care and attention received was outstanding. Schedule changes can be a hassle and I truly appreciate how easy they made it for me! Thank you, Dr. Hurt and Staff.

Dr hurts office employees and dr hurt were friendly and helpful and cared about my knee and dr hurt answered all my questions even the silly one made me feel like they cared thank you everyone they for the special way I was treated

My daughter has been under Dr. Hurt care the last 2 year and has had 2 knee surgeries and a broken ankle! We couldn’t of ask for a better doctor/surgeon! With my daughter only being 14, I was very nervous but Dr Hurt and his team made it less stressful for me as a parent. He is very thorough prior and after both surgeries which as a mom was reassuring. He truly cares about each and every patient and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

Dr Hurt took care of me in a proper amount of time. I had a problem with my right elbow for which he gave me a shot and it's starting to feel alot better today. I have used him for about 5 years and he never disappoints me

Dr. Hurt is compassionate, knowledgeable, and very caring. He takes time with and listens to you and your concerns. I feel he truly loves what he does and it shows in his demeanor.

We can't comment on the surgery yet, its only been 5 days. We got conflicting instructions as to home health care, and how to handle the dressing, activities, showering, and exercises . Rude and combative when confronted with the change from original post surgical care vs the modified instructions which were changed once more, back to the original instructions.

Dr. Hurt was absolutely wonderful when dealing with my shoulder pain. Offered immediate pain relief, then went through conservative treatment options. After exhausting conservative options he patiently went through pros and cons of surgical option. I made the decision to go with surgery and his surgical skills are top notch. Wonderful result and would highly recommend to anyone.

How do i leave a review for a consultation. All he did was tell me what he could do and got my hopes up. Its been almost 2 month since my one consultation! I cant get a direct answer nor a call back about the consultation. And now im supposed to leave a review about his work? To be continued!

Dr. hurt is an excellent orthopedic surgeon he is extremely thoughtful of the care of his patients he is a man gifted by God to do what he does it’s evident by the work which he does putting patient first and not money he only seeks the well-being of his patient I’ve had multiple surgeries done by Dr. hurt and they are living up to exactly everything he said they would I would highly recommend him to perform surgery on any one of need may God bless him richly P.S He is the only physician of my 63 years of life that has ever ask if he could pray with me before the procedure or surgery what a man of God sincerely Joe Cook

Dr Hurt is a very caring surgeon. He listens and he cares. He repaired a torn tendon in my elbow. Did a great job and years later I have had no problem. He also repaired a torn meniscus is my 80 year old father and he was up and walking the same day. I would highly recommend him.

I have a frozen shoulder - who ever heard of that. Dr. Hurt took time to explain what it was and the best course of action for me. No surgery and no physical therapy until the shoulder started to move freely. Otherwise, I would just be in pain. He monitored my progress every 3 months and explained my status (or lack of progress). He takes the time I need to let me know I am okay.

I've seen Dr. Hurt twice for an ongoing knee issue. I'll eventually need a knee replacement. However, we are trying other things first -- it's good that he is not pressing for surgery.

Great doctor and staff, no complaints out of me! I would highly recommend to a friend or family menber.
