Dr. John David Hummel, MD

Dr Hummel has done 2 procedures on me, including heart ablation and a watchman implanted. I could not ask for a better Doctor. He is awesome.

He was a very nice doctor, but I had to wait a long time to get an appointment with any physician in the group and at my appointment I waited almost an hour to see him and then 20 minutes after that for the nurse to come back just to tell me I could go home. He spoke very quickly and didn't stay on topic. I felt like he didn't listen to my concerns. Nice guy but an average physician.

When I first met Dr. Hummel it was 14 years ago I was rushed to Riverside hospital by ambulance.... for my heart starting racing for no reason at all... my heart rate was about 240 beats a minute.... not good! I thought I was going to die... then I met Dr. Hummel at the hospital he was so nice and all the nurses had nothing but good things to say about him they told me he was one of the best doctors in the country.... well before I knew it the next day he did a EP study on my heart and he found the problem and corrected it.... it took a good year before I started to feel myself but with help of Dr. Hummel and his staff I am now feeling more myself no more heart racing or Heart arrhythmias.... he found the problem and did so many tests on me and sure enough by the help of the ep study and the right medications and his advise I am now feeling so much better... he and his staff always was so kind and understanding for a while there I was so sick I thought I was going to die... but I know now he is one of the best doctors when it comes to the heart because I am still here 14 years later and I feel so much better... trust me Dr. Hummel is very smart and sweet as can be if you ask me he is my angel on earth! The world is so blessed to have him!
