Dr. John Francis Erkkinen, MD

I haven't seen Dr. Erkkinen for many years but while searching for a GI dr. for my boyfriend I was thrilled to see that he's still practicing and figured I would leave a review. While I was his patient Dr. E. was incredibly kind, compassionate, and always made me feel at ease. He was patient with all my (endless), questions, and never made me as though I was bothering him. Moreover, Dr. E. was thorough and left no stone unturned. I always felt confident in his abilities and experience in his field of expertise. So, if you're in need of the best care and best GI doctor around I highly recommend making an appointment right away.

Many years ago, when Dr. Erkkinen practiced in Worcester, Ma, I was referred to him by my family Dr. Trow. I was on a Nutri System diet that caused me to develop gallstones and I was experiencing great pain. After being tested to make sure I had the right 'kind' of stones, he gave me an opportunity to take Actigal to dissolve my stones. The medication was miraculous. From my first tablet, I was pain free. Within two months my stones were gone. No surgery, no issues. To this day, I remember Dr. Erkkinen as a Godsend.
