Dr. John Gould, DO

Ther is no better Dr in my opinion. I drive 2 hours from NC for a patient visit.

I have been seeing Dr. Gould for sometime now, and he is always warm and friendly and easy to talk to. I was having a hard time with some anxiety issues that are not always easy to discuss, but I felt comfortable enough to open up to him and I am so glad I did. He was helpful and understanding, so glad I opened up and I have been feeling better and hopeful ever since! Thank you! Dr. Gould, and your care team!

Warm, knowledgeable, supportive, and much like an old-fashioned home visiting doctor from my childhood.

He has a great bedside manner. Does not talk down to patients. Was a pharmacist before becoming an internist.

Dr. Gould is a caring and compassionate Dr. He provides me with a treatment plan and medical advice that has improved my overall health. I highly recommend Dr. Gould to anyone looking for an internist to provide whole body health.

I started seeing Dr. Gould in 2009, I had just had a hip implant and was in the hospital, I woke up and found a Dr, looking at my incision and he had the most caring look in his eyes , and I said to myself, That's the Dr. for me! I made an appt. and have been seeing him ever since. He is the most caring Dr, I have found. If I have to wait a little while to see him, I don't mind, because I know he will give me the same attention and time that I need.

I do not know Dr. Gould, but he hospitalized my husband during an emergency room visit. His diagnosis was that my husband was weak and unable to thrive. Therefore, my husband was hospitalized as an outpatient. I have been trying to contact Dr. Gould and request that he indicates a diagnosis that would categorize my husband's hospital stay as inpatient. I have left requests for Dr. Gould to contact me, but he has not. I shall call and leave the content of my request on his voice mail. Perhaps he will contact me at that time.

I believe that Dr. Gould is a competent and very knowledgeable physician. However, my appointments have been cancelled and rescheduled several times and phone calls have not been returned by this doctor or his staff despite my bringing this to his attention on more than one occasion.

Dr. Gould is a throw back to an earlier time when doctors really took an interest in their patients and their overall well-being. He is kind and easy to talk to and really listens and thinks about what you are saying.

Dr Gould is one of the finest physicians I have ever known. He always keeps both the medical and personal life of the patient before arriving at a method of treatment.
