Dr. John A. Hagy, Jr. Jr, MD

I have had two surgeries performed by Dr. Hagy. From the time I first met him until the last time I had a final checkup, he has been a phenomenal caregiver in every way. He has an unpresidented bedside manner. Prior to surgery, he patiently answered every question my family and I asked with a flair of humor that we found to be wonderful. It calmed us all down just whn we needed it, making the hospital stays so much easier than they.might have been. For me and my family, he was just what the doctor ordered!

Dr Hagy spent alot of time explaining the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. He was well versed in the current research in Laproscopic vs open repair. I was expecting a quick visit at such a busy clinic but he took the time to answer my questions and listened well to my concerns.

The "Best of the Best"

Hernia surgery. The doctor was more than 30 minutes late for our appointment, which is never a good sign. Surgery went OK, but I had a conflict (cataract surgery) for the follow-up that they scheduled for me. The only available appointment was months after the surgery, so I did not go back. If I need surgery again, I will find a different doctor.
