Had a THR right side on Oct 9th. Dr Keggi is considerate taking the time to explain everything about the surgery answering all questions. The recovery was quick with minimal pain. I have full use and range of motion with my new hip. I am very pleased.

Had a right hip replacement, anterior approach, and back to exercising and swimming in 6 weeks. There was virtually no pain, felt so much better after a few days. Everything went very smoothly. Dr. Keggi is patient and answers any and all questions. I will have him do my other hip as well!

Very satisfied with the double knee replacement from initial consultation to now at 12 weeks after surgery. Dr. Keggi and the entire staff were very pleasant and helpful which made it all so much better. Recovery was quicker than expected and I’m mostly back to normal.

It has been nine months since my knee surgery and I am pain free, playing golf and looking forward to skiing this winter. Commitment to the pre and post programs made the difference for me. Thanks again to Dr.Keggi and his team!

Dr. Keggi preformed hip replacement surgery on both my hips, six months apart. I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Keggi thoroughly explained the procedure and was always available for any questions I had before and after surgery. In my case, my recovery time was better than I expected. I had my surgery on September 21, 2022. Surgery went great and was walking the neighborhood that first weekend with little on no pain. Dr. Keggi and his team at St. Francis were excellent! They were very caring and concerned about everything throughout the complete process. I couldn't have felt more relaxed. Dr. Keggi is one of the most calming people I've met and will answer any question until you're completely satisfied. My biggest mistake was not doing it earlier.

Dr. John Keggi is amazing, helped me when no other Dr. would and I was in a great deal of pain. His staff is awesome. Had total hip replacement on June 6, 2022 very happy. Unfortunately I have other health issues but the hip is fine.

Excellent staff and dr Keggi was great. Lighthouse surgery center was state of the art and everyone was so comforting, friendly and professional. It’s been 3 months since my hip replacement and I am pain free and amazed how fast the recovery has been. Thank you to all!

I am thrilled with the speed of my hip replacement recovery! I was able to come home the same day as the surgery and made it up two flights of stairs from my garage basement entry to my bedroom upstairs. I was back to walking 5 miles a day at about 6 weeks and really feel like I have my life back. I had gone to several doctors trying to figure out where my sudden excruciating leg pain was coming from and had experienced a few injections to no avail. At my first visit to Dr Keggi, he assured me it was my hip and I felt a trust in him that never failed me. His office easily set up the surgery to meet my schedule and every part of the experience was wonderful from the center at St. Francis, to the surgery itself, to the home PT they set up for me, to my future visits. Dr Keggi is a skilled surgeon who also happens to be very kind and full of common sense. I feel blessed to have found him.

I had no idea that hip replacements could make such a drastic difference in my life. I now relish simply when I walk. I am doing so well. My second hip replacement even altered my upper back, shoulders and neck. I am able to practice the violin and viola without becoming misaligned and needing a massage. I am symmetrical and therefore my clothes fit better, no more zippers or waistbands being pulled to one side. I have more energy, my senses are heightened, I have better clarity and my range of motion is improved without have to do a stretching routine. I am able to stand up straight without forcing myself to do so. My entire journey with Orthopedics New England and St. Francis Hospital was populated with professionals of the highest caliber-across the board! My medical care was executed with skill, grace, warmth and patience. Dr. Keggi provided more than ample time for consultation before and after my hip replacements and was an approachable, patient, compassionate physician who takes the time to listen and get to know his patients. Dr. Keggi was available for questions. After my first hip replacement, my family and I were concerned about my elevated temperatures. Dr. Keggi not only responded to our calls, but called several times after to follow up. I have had @12 surgeries, Dr. Keggi was the only surgeon who personally called the day before to inquire as to whether I had any questions. Dr. Keggi and his "crew" are in a class by itself. The information he provided prior to the procedure was an excellent tool and reference before and after. One of his best qualities as a Physician is his bedside manner. There are no words to describe how Dr. Keggi has helped my life and body. I’ve been seeing him for 23 years, since I was a baby with hip dysplasia. In my infancy he fixed my left hip and femur and gave me my childhood back and allowed me to have an amazing life. He taught my mother how to change my diapers with a full Stryker cast on and gave her so much peace of mind. Now later in my young adulthood he’s replaced my left hip due to osteoarthritis from hip dysplasia. The procedure was amazing, felt no pain after surgery. St. Francis hospital was amazing, they have their own separate wing/floor for joint replacements so you are safer and care is more focused to the individual. I cannot say enough amazing things about this doctor, he changes lives for the better and I hope he knows what an impact he has made in all of us.
