Dr. John Aubrey Knowles, MD

Beware of this doctor. I cannot believe he is still practicing, and the long list of victims that are probably out there. To the person who wrote the review below, the EXACT same thing happened to me at 11 years old. I am now 41 years old and it still haunts me to this day. He told my Mom to wait outside, so he could "examine" my vagina. It was one of the most tramatic experiences I've ever had. I remember he was filling in for our regular doctor who was a wonderful and amazing pediatricianat Alamo Medical Group. Time is up for this doctor.

All i can remember is i went with my mom to see dr knowles when i was 12 years old. I am now 57. The purpose of my visit was to see him for my type 1 diabetes check up. Instead he told my mom to wait outside the exam room then told me. to pull down my pants and then he "examined" my vagina. There was no nurse in the room. I felt so violated by this. He had no business examining me gynecologically when i was there with my mom to discuss my diabetes. I told my mom and we never went back. Anyone else out there have this happen to them ?
