Dr. John Kent Kratzer, DO

Very prompt and attentive to my needs.

I was a patient of Dr. Kratzer for many years. He was always a caring and kind doctor. We retired to Florida for several years until hurricane Ian destroyed our house. We returned to Indiana, and I made an appointment. I was disappointed that he didn't seem to be the same doctor I knew years ago. I have a condition that needs constant monitoring, and although I was trying to get a test done via my Florida doctor, with an order for a procedure, he seemed indifferent and just kind of blew me off. Made me sad, as he was always so caring.

This office scams you into frequent and needless appointments at more than $200.00 a pop. Don't be suckered in.

My whole family has been going to him for years. Great doc and always has sensible solutions and cures. Also, the new location and MedStat addition definitely covers most hours if you cant get in to see him right away. (we prefer to wait)

Now that Dr. Kratzer's new location also hosts a Medstat office, when my son came to me burning with fever, I knew that despite a travel warning we needed to be seen by medical personnel. I called and learned Medstat was open, but was extremely pleased to find when I got there that our primary care physician Dr Kratzer had also managed to brave the drifts to serve his patients that day, and we were lucky enough to be seen due to two cancelations. Office visits tend to have long wait times for us, but usually we are being worked in last minute so I can't complain too much about that, they really try to see us when one of the kids are sick. Turned out my son had strep so it was good for him to get diagnosed and get the meds he needed. Overall I am very pleased with Kratzer's care and really like his office staff.
