Dr. John Stephen Bishop, MD

I seen Dr. Bishop many times when he was practicing in GA. He was the only DR that could operate on me without me ending up with infections due to allergic reactions to most medical supplies. I would travel a 100 miles to his hospital to have any surgery needed for his hands. Miss him a lot and wish he was back in GA. Will travel to Colorado if any more surgery is needed. Thanks Dr. Bishop, your a great Dr. and friend!

My husband had to have an emergency surgery where they removed his appendix and Dr. Bishop was involved in the surgery. At the time we did not have health insurance so we ended up with more than $10,000 in hospital and Dr. bills and of that total over $3000 was with this dr. My husband and I have faithly paid every month on this bill and now tried to coorperate as much as we can with the payment but now they are telling us that we have to pay off our bill or they are going to start charging us 21% interest rate. Is this really a dr. office or a credit card company trying to make any dollar they can? I don't feel like this dr. is there to be there for his patients but only there to make as much money as he can from the people who need the care. I would never recommend this dr. to anyone!!!!
