Dr. John Sutherland Oglesby, MD

I don’t know if he will ever see this but this dr is amazing 3 years ago he did everything he could to help me get pregnant. I miscarried but I had my rainbow baby she’s now 3 years old and honestly without his help I wouldn’t be where I am today with such a beautiful little girl I highly recommend him. I’d do anything to thank him for giving me such a beautiful baby and I wish I could show him what she looks like now ?? but if you happen to see it you’ll know me as Ashlyn R.

I was referred to Dr. O as a new patient for a routine birth control visit, which ended up being more serious than anyone expected. But through the entire process (which ended up being several months), he was not only thorough and and excellent medical professional, but also a genuinely WONDERFUL person! He's friendly and amusing and down-to-earth, and I always felt like he truly cared about me as a person and not just a patient. He checked in on me EVERY MORNING during my hospital stay(s), even if just to try and lift my spirits with his goofy jokes and antics. Now I'm going to cry - I guess I'd better move back to Wisconsin! In all seriousness though - I'd recommend Dr. O over any other OB/GYN I've met to anyone. MORE than recommended...!

Dr. Oglesby has been my best doctor. I miss his kindness, cheerful nature, ability to love everyone, and concern for his fellow being. Come back. We all need you.

Come back to Utah. Its been a year we need you here. There is nobody on this on this earth that is there for somebody especially a patient like you. I miss and love everything you have done for me.

Not only is he an amazing doctor but he is an amazing person. He is an advocate for you throughout your pregnancy. He will be there for you. He not only did helped me get pregnant but he saved my daughters life when she was born. Without him my daughter would not be here today. He cares deeply about his patients as if they were family. You will not find a better doctor.

Oglesby is the most understanding, caring, helpful doctor I have ever met in my life. He has changed my life for the better with his amazing care and persistence. If not for him I would have literally died. I am so grateful he is my doctor.

Dr Ogelsby is amazing I had female problems for years. Other Dr's told me it was in my head ... he had it fixed in there visits He is so kind and sweet

Dr oglesby is an amazing doctor! He has always needed so sweet and caring, And his staff is great. His knowledge compared to many is beyond belief

He is very friendly and kind, but he is a HIGH RISK OBGYN which means if you don't want an un needed C-section do not go to him! Remember informed consent!

Dr. Oglesby was referred to me by a family friend. I was more then impressed with him and his staff! I saw Dr. Oglesby for my entire pregnancy. Like the other review mentioned the entire staff made me feel like family. I had seen another doctor for my last pregnancy and I wish I had known about this amazing office before hand. Every time I walk in the girls at the front desk know my name and my daughter's. It's such a heartwarming feeling to know that this office cares. As mentioned in an earlier post about the blood work... Dr. Oglesby also did some pretty extensive blood work on me with a lab that was out of network with my insurance. I did panic when I saw the EOB from my insurance. When I called to talk to the staff about the issue they explained to me that I wouldn't be responsible for the amount on my EOB and that once I received the invoice from the lab to let them know. My insurance ended up cutting me a check for the amount and I mailed it off to the lab. I never had an issue after that. Also isn't that what insurance for. I could care less if the lab charged my insurance thousands of dollars isn't that what we pay our premiums for? All in all I have to say I love this office and refer all my friends and family there!!

When I have gone in for regular appointments Dr. Oglesby is quick and efficient while being warm and friendly. He has a real passion for keeping his patients healthy. I have health issues that have required surgery and his staff has almost literally gone to battle for me as medicaid is hard to get to pay for so many things. And when i brought my daughter in to see him to explain what she was in for, she 13, he answered all her questions energetically and patiently.

I absolutely adore the man. He took such great care of me during my pregnancy, along with the few complications that went along with it. He and his staff became like family to us, and I can only hope that I am able to deliver baby #2 with Dr. Oglesby, whenever he or she comes along, :)

I went in for my yearly visit when Dr Oglesby said he wanted to do some blood work. He said it was be extensive but mentioned nothing about the expense. It ended up costing my insurance company almost $2000. I've had tests like this done in the past and they were only a couple hundred dollars. The lab is under investigation no by my Insurance Company. His office also never called me back regarding a lump that was discovered during my mamogram. I found out from a nurse from the lab who called telling me I needed to make an appointment with a surgeon. Very poor customer service. I'll never go back.
