Honestly 1 STAR is too high for this Dr. Samani, had minor Meniscus surgery, Dr. Samani stated he was just going to clean/shave the area & that was 9 months ago. I played Basketball for 30 years & since this Surgery I am unable to play as my knee builds fluid after 1 game, he drained it several times & said this was normal. Well 9 months later, I still have fluid buildup, I never had this at all before. I never had this problem before, never. The day of surgery, I waited 2 hours in the bed before they took me in, he had 8 others lined up for Surgery, made me feel like a piece of meat, like a factory. I WOULD NEVER REFER HIM TO ANYONE, again he doesnt deserve 1 star.

Had shoulder surgery. MRI showed nominal damage but once he got in there, it was very bad. He saved me from having to have a shoulder replacement. Great bedside manner. Never felt rushed. Follow up was great.

Dr Samani did my ex-husband's shoulder replacements years ago. He did shoulder surgery on me in 2010. I was back playing volleyball in 2 months! I'm better than ever. You can't even find the scars. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He is absolutely the very best with a great bedside manner to match. I can't say enough good things about him and his skills.

Absolutely love and trust Dr. Samani. The only downside we have ever experienced with him is wait times....he is often also running behind schedule.

I have had many physical problems in last 5 years. Dr. Samani is the best one I have had to deal with and results were excellent., His bedside manner is great. He takes a lot of time explaining what he sees as your problem and his plan to help you. He is a excellent communicator and his staff is the best. You will not be sorry you trusted this doctor to help you or you loved one.

Dr. Samani expertly explained by injury utilizing computer screen images of my joints. He clearly explained my options. He did all this in language and terms that were understandable to the lay person. He spent an appropriate amount of time with me, not too rushed and not wasting time. The surgery he performed is healing faster and better than I expected and at this point (3 months out) seems to have been done excellently. I was referred to him by 2 friends who had the same surgery and I would not hesitate to recommnend him to friend, family member or stranger. (Oh wait, I already did, I sent my daughter to him and I am returning for a different body part that needs repairing.

This doctor was ill-prepared for my follow-up appointment and shot from the hip, not recalling my diagnosis. He wasn't even willing to look at the Beaumont computer to see the reports/films. That would have taken a few minutes, you see. He utterly wasted my time Most important, he was also dishonest in his responses. I would not recommend him to anyone. One health professional who worked with him confirmed what my impressions were. Possibly he is a good surgeon, although a jerk, but I wouldn't trust him and have gone elsewhere for surgery.

Dr. Samani is an excellent Doctor. I had a torn meniscus in my right knee and had surgery by another Doctor. After 6 months and still having problems, I went to see Dr. Samanai. Dr. Samani had me get a MRI (something the first Doctor didn't have me get) and after reviewing the MRI, determined that I needed surgery again. He subsequently performed the surgery and had to remove a flap of skin that the other Doctor missed and also had to smooth out some jagged edges that should have been taken care of by previous Doctor. I'm only 1 month out from my operation and my knee feels great. I didn't go through a painful recovery process like my first surgery. I'd recommend him with absolutely no reservations. I went through Physical Rehabilatation at his facility and the staff was excellent (my first Doctor did not recommend PT.

Diagnosed me with mechanical patella problem. 2 years later a pain clinic doctor diagnosed me with advanced-late stage RSD/CRPS. Devastating consequences. Doctor was arrogant, rude and spent little time with me, left me waiting for 1 1/2 hours each visit with no apology. Rushed through each visit and misdiagnosed my condition. I have struggled for more than two years with RSD that should have caught by this doctor as my symptoms were obvious and in both knees.
