Dr. John Vann Parker, MD

Dr Parker is very caring with excellent communication with the patient. I’m very sensitive and I need to feel confident that I’m in good hands and Dr. Parker is the one I trust. However in my recent visit I had a nurse that was not the usual, skipping tests and not providing any instructions, total lack of communication and compassion. That really dropped my level of confidence in his staff but not on him. He is still my number one.

A very gentle doctor, understood my health concerns and explained his plan for treating me. I'm glad to have found him! Would recommend him to anyone who needs care.

Dr Parker was extremely friendly and caring. Had the procedure done within a couple weeks of the office visit, didn't question my decision to not have children, and with minimal pain and scarring on my abdomen. Would absolutely recommend.

He is knowledgeable, extremely competent, compassionate and even does his own surgeries. He listens to you and you have an actual conversation about your concerns. He is seriously the best doctor I have ever seen.

Dr. Parker LISTENS to what bothers me , not just treating what is required by gyn rules . He and his staff are great at making sure all of my required screening is ordered on time ( even when that is not my top priority in memory ) staff always friendly and let me know if things are running behind and my options

Dr. Parker is the Best obgyn anyone could ask for, he is so caring and never once made me feel rushed, and made sure all my questions had answers and then some. I always felt he was on my side and would do anything to keep myself and my baby safe. When he does a pap I swear I barely feel it..now that's a gift! I feel blessed to have found such an amazing Doctor and wouldn't trade him for the world!

I have been seeing Dr. Parker for over 10 yrs. He diagnosed early cancer cells and performed my surgery. He was also VERY supportive during my pregnancy and with my decision to birth naturally. Even though I have moved from the Lk. Mary area, I still drive an hour JUST to see Dr. Parker each year for my well woman exam. Wouldn't use another doc.!! Bedside manners are fabulous....he takes his time, really listens and builds a good rapport. I really feel I can trust his opinion/recommendations on any health issue.
