Dr. John Franklin Zwetchkenbaum, MD

I visited this office to rule out a possible food allergy. I met with a physician assistant on the phone prior to the visit and very clearly described the symptoms. I went to the office and they had a technician administer the skin testing. She was so terrible I had scabs for 2 weeks. During the visit I had questioned why there were not environmental allergies included in the testing as that was also discussed. They then told me I needed to go for lab work upstairs. Skin did not show positive for any allergens yet I saw the medical technician inaccurately measure and inflate the measurements to make it look as if I had an allergy. During the meeting they were also continuously pushing their allergy shots, which are not FDA approved. They kept trying to push further testing within a couple of days so that they could start to formulate the ingredients for the shots. Once my blood work came back another physician's assistant called me with contradictory information to the previous physician's assistant stating that the reverse should have taken place and the environmental allergies should have been skin testing and the food allergies should have been blood testing. They then told me I had to go for more lab work. At the end of this I ended up at the lab three separate times they told me that I had allergies that I did not have and they were continuously trying to push their allergy shots. They informed me of foods that I was supposedly allergic to and when I asked for the lab results they continuously kept sending me the wrong one. I made an appointment at Brigham and Women's in requested the records be transferred. I did not have a single allergy to a food nor should I have avoided the foods that they told me to avoid.

I read many different reviews before I come to this place. I was refer by my son dermatology Dr. Shane in Jonston amazing dermatology. My son is currently 4 years old it has been sick non stop high fever with blisters, ear infections, constantly bad colds, no sleeping, super hyper, and no saying many words that he should at his age, behavior was super poorly, attacking most of his little friends at day care and in home but I his very lovable and he always was crying because he felt bad after do something no nice to others . I know something was off because I am Scientist. I Know that because he had remorse’s he care about no been nice to other. One day he said “ many an super itchy I can scratch myself inside” and that sentence was repeated constantly. So I knew my son need it help before it was too late. Since my son is in treatment under Dr. John Z. Drops, and diets my baby’s changes have been from 2 to 10. He sleep on time, wants to take shower, speak a lot more better, every teacher at school have notice the changes, behave average normal at school, have more friends, his social skills are amazing most people or places we go he is the light of the party very lovable and considered for others. So, I don’t know, and I don’t care if it is expensive, if some of the staff are rude or even worse don’t believe in what they selling, the extreme changes we have done at our home our diet. Yes it has been hard and expensive, but My husband will do anything sale our home if we have to for the Health of our son. I personally think that many of the poor reviews are irrelevant to what really you are coming to see a dr. People are talking about scam for money, scam for the test, people rudeness. But I have not see someone said I did the treatment and it didn’t work for me. So for those of you that are looking to help your child to feel better and do better in life and no be in the future depending on high drug I STRONGLY RECOMMEND DR. Z. Family MANNI

Scam! They have you sign a document thats states you haven't met your deductible but refuse to tell you how much its going to cost. Then BAM! You get a bill for $500 plus. Its a money making scam. Go somewhere else and get upfront cost or just take a Zyrtec and save thousands of dollars. Never met Dr. Z and is probably good at what he does but his staff is well trained to take your money.

Dr Z met with my wife and spent a lot of time with her. He sincerely cares and is experienced in his field. His PA , Brianna has since taken over and she is absolutely a stand out professional caregiver. She knows her stuff, can manage the system and is available and accountable. You really know you are in the best of hands when with her. We have a ways to go before hopefully full recovery occurs but meantime we couldn't ask for better care anywhere.

Huge conflicts of interest as he pushes these supplements where the only research to prove efficacy are funded by the company who makes them! Scary and unethical!!!

My daughter has severe Eczema, so we were referred by her pediatrician. The first appointment we waited forever for a 5 min consultation to set up testing. The woman who conducted the testing on my 20 month daughter was not at all friendly! The office staff are not friendly either. The testing went ok, but when I asked a question the woman acted as though I was bothering her. I wish I could say the follow up with doctor was better. We saw Dr. Z and waited almost 90 min for a 5 min appointment. He did not even examine my daughter. When I asked if I could ask a question he told me he did not have time and to ask it on the patient portal. I paid my specialist co- pay for what!? I was highly Disappointed with the whole experience. He wanted to follow up to check on her eczema and I didn't bother scheduling it. She has a dermatologist, I refuse to waste anymore of my time or money!

Dr. Z genuinely wants to help people who are suffering

I was misdiagnosed by this practice for 1 1/2 years. I was being treated for asthma yet I actually had coronary artery disease and ended up having a heart attack. The practice admitted it was their job to distinguish between asthma and heart and "they missed" it. Needless to say, I do not recommend this practice

Dr Z as an allergist is ok however the office and Dr Z have zero respect for patients time! Sat in the office for over 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time 2 years ago as drug rep after drug rep went before me and never returned since.

Lincoln Office is very disorganized and staff appears to be unprofessional and rush through testing/procedures. Dr. Z has little respect for patient or staff-pouts that he can't find his water bottle! Use to be good when he first set up practice.

My first visit began with a 2 hour wait. When we finally saw Dr. Zwetchkenbaum he took a personal call, where he laughed and joked on the phone for several minutes while we were in his office. When I complained about the wait, the receptionist told me that 2 hours was the average wait time in their office- no apologies!! My appointment was only a consult for allergy shots, testing had already been completed. The actual appointment was 5 minutes long.

Dr is knowledgeable, but has no bedside manner and runs the office too much like a for-profit business. Tries to crank out the patients like an assembly line.

My 5 year old son has been a patient of this practice for 3 years. Dr. Z has always been accurate and helpful in getting to the root of issues and getting us back on track when his asthma or eczema flares. We have always been able to get into the office for emergency visits on the same day. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. His PA, Toby, has done some of our follow up visits and was great with kids and informative. I would recommend this office.

I have never hated going to a doctor before - but I will never ever return to this office. Dr. Zwetchkenbaum is extremely rude. He has absolutely no bedside manner - staring at his laptop, not talking to the patient. He refused to put me on a cheaper medicine I knew worked - instead forcing me to a more expensive medicine that didn't work as well. His male assistant is fortunately a little better (he should leave that office!) When I went for a followup with his PA, a female, she was the worst. She spent the 50% of my appointment on the phone with another doctor discussing another case. She was so awkward and rude. There was no privacy in their office, crammed into a small house. I can't believe these guys get recommended by Turn to 10 or RI monthly.

Very friendly staff. All Doctors are caring and easy to talk to. Multiple offices for ease of making appts (even same day/emergency appts).

Dr. Z always listens to me and explains what I need to know with me. He is a very busy doctor and sometimes seems in a rush outside the exam rooms though once he steps in with a patient he tries to slow down and focus on you and your Medical problems. His staff is friendly and helpful to me and I have never had a problem getting an appointment yet.

Dr. Zwetchkenbaum is impatient and rude. His staff has loud and inappropriate conversations near or around patients. He did not follow up with my blood results or injection test. Appointments are hard to get. Follow up appointments are made a month too far out. I was double-booked for an appointment and when asked to reschedule I had to wait an additional THREE months!

I loved the office staff, everyone was so wonderful! Toby Weiser, his PA-C was very knowledgeable and had great bedside manner!
