I received better care and treatment then my former doc. Dr. Hoppenfeld genuinely cares and is happy to help people. He is empathetic, listens and truly understands the needs of those he is caring for.

I was treated by Dr. Hoppenfeld recently because the never in my back was pinched. I received multiple injections in my back and neck and felt immediate relied the pain. Dr. Hoppenfeld is very compassionate ,understanding, and listens to what say.

I was seen by Dr. Hoppenfeld because of sever back and leg pain. The injections I received made a huge difference in my life.

After over two years of horrible hip pain, radiating down my leg, I am so happy to say that I am now pain free! everyone at the clinic is wonderful and I am a cheerleader for all of them. They have been life changing for me. Thanks so very much

Dr. Hoppenfeld treated my low back with a radiofrequency procedure. I wish I would have listened to him and done this sooner. My back is much improved and I am able to sit up straighter which I haven't been able to do in years.

I have back injections with Dr. Hoppenfeld every 3-4 months. Before the injections, I was unable to stand up more than 20-30 minutes. Since having the injections, I am able to stand up for longer periods of time. I was able to walk around an amusement park and the beach with my family for hours. That is not something I would have been able to do without the injections.

I was in significant pain for several months. Doctors were not sure of what was causing the pain. After visiting Dr. Hoppenfeld and getting proper diagnosis, then getting the proper treatment I am now feeling the best I have felt in several months.

The staff is horrible at the WT Harris Blvd office. They do not care about you as a patient.

If a physician is arrogant with Zero personality that's ok as long as he/she knows what they're doing. Hoppenfeld was supposed to be injecting my LOWER back but missed by 4 inches, on purpose. He did not discuss it with me. I assumed I was receiving my normal treatment. THIS IS MY BODY! My upper back is manageable. I did not want any invasive treatments for my mid-upper back. I am worse than I've been in 10 yrs, bruised with busted blood vessels. Never again!! I am FURIOUS! He has ruined my back! He might be good at writing but he is a Terrible pain mgmt Dr. If you need help with chronic pain find someone else!! I can't imagine anyone giving him 5 stars, I am astounded. Worse pain mgmt physician EVER.

I was having significant back pain and pain radiating to leg. Dr. Hoppenfeld performed an injection for me that has relieved the pain I was experiencing. He had a great bedside manner and explained everything to me in terms I could understand. I would recommend anyone dealing with unexplained discomfort or pain to see Dr. Hoppenfeld for evaluation. I'm so glad that I did!

Dr. Hoppenfeld listened to my concerns, fully focused on my explanation of the pain I was having, and gave is opinion about my diagnosis and treatment. He was timely and concise. His office staff was extremely polite and helpful as well. I'd highly recommend Dr. Hoppenfeld to any of my family or friends.

Took my teenage son who deals with AMPS. WE had exhausted 4 years of doctors and medications with no relief. His nurse practitioner was awesome, but he needs to grow up and act with more maturity. Another reviewer stated that it was like a college frat boy entered the room. She was exactly right. My son was in a heightened pain phase. He just told us what he thought was a viable treatment at another location with a friend of his from med school. We had researched that for years and had heard only negative results. Upon asking about it, he laughed off our concerns and left the room. Do not go to this doctor. It was the most discouraging doctor's visit we have been to in 4 years. Then we were billed a couple hundred dollars for absolutely NOTHING.

Dr Hoppenfeld appears pleasant & caring at first but his ultimate goal is to get you off any pain medications you are on that helps you. He offers no options, such as massage therapy, accupuncture, non-opiate medication, nothing. He will do procedures such as cortisone related shots, nerve blocks, etc but the cost will astound you & you will get little to no relief. In my experience in seeing him for several years, he has no compassion, no real understanding or care of pain, is only in it for the money - "money first, patient second" as another reviewer said, only I would say "patient last". I have no doubt he has & would falsify documentation to CYA - cover his lack of proper medical care & possible illegal usage of techniques or substances, as other reviewers have stated. And to make the patient look like a drug-seeker or faker or addict. Which most of us with severe Chronic Pain & Disability are NOT> This Dr should have his licence yanked: he is lazy, uncaring to the point of seeming to enjoy making your pain worse, highly suspicious in his methods & documentation, & a LIAR. One reviewer called him "evil" - I have never used that word on any person, but I think it totally applies to him. Do not let anyone refer you to him, avoid him at all cost as you will only end up worse. There is a Patients' Bill of Rights & the first one is that the patient has the right to choose their own doctor. Turn Dr Hoppenfeld DOWN.

You and your problem are the most important thing to him He is very dedicated to his patients. He is a doctor that you want to take care of you He's also very funnY and very, very caring.

I have seen a lot of pain management doctors and had a lot of surgery. This is the worst Doctor I have ever encountered . Unprofessional, rude, just out for the money. Only poor review I have ever given.
