Dr. Jon Gregory Mckellar, MD

Very thorough exam. Asks many questions. Very attentive to patients questions and comments.

Dr. Mckellar is very knowledgeable however his front desk staff is rather inefficient in respect to appointment times and keeping you posted as to why the long wait. Very nice nurse.

Dr. McKellar is efficient, listens very well, dedicated and determined to provide the best diagnosis and path to recovery...he does not over medicate. He takes very seriously your ailments.

I am a chronic pain patient who was referred to Mckellar because my normal doctor was on vacation. He was rude and unprofessional. He griped about how much trouble it was for him to prescribe pain medication. He showed a complete lack of interest in my medical problems and seemed to have the attitude that he could just prescribe some narcotics and send me on my way. He also tried to give me a prescription for antidepressants even though I was not depressed and none of my problems were emotional. Antidepressants are physically very addictive and to prescribe them when not needed borders on malpractice, in my opinion.

Needed a family doctor since I had recently moved to the area. The office and personnel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I was taken care of in a professional,friendly manner. Dr."Jon" was a very personable and knowledgeable doctor that exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Dr. McKellor without reservation.
