Dr Liss and his staff were very professional. I was seen in a timely manner. After several tests and an interview with the Doctor he was able to determine I did not have the beginning of Alzheimers which eased my mind. He then gave me guidance to help with some memory problems.

I have been Dr. Liss’ patient for 22 years; he is genuine no very caring. I highly recommend him.

When we received the Alzheimer's diagnosis our PCP gave us a prescription and said there is nothing that can be done. When we met with Dr. Liss he gave us hope for preserving his independence for as long as possible.

He seems to care when i go for my visits. I don't feel rushed or like a number. He sits down when talking and lets you talk while he listens before giving his input. So many doctors Ive been to are so arrogant or talk over you but not this one. He really understands how mental/neurological disorders affect your life. I haven't been able to see him since my insurance was cancelled but as soon as I do get coverage again I'll be back.

This is my first office visit with Dr. Liss. I was very impressed with his courteous, friendly and outstanding interest in my visit.

My wife and I were treated with respect. We had a very short wait time before we saw the Doctor. Answered all our questions. Dr. Liss took time explaining, and setting up appointments that were needed outside his office. His upbeat personality was great. Very careing. That's why he earned five stars.

Although it was a little wait before seeing the doctor, the visit was great and worth it. Dr. Liss is very knowledgeable and understanding. He recommend support for my mum's dx of Alzheimer. He also shed a little light in how we (family) can be more supportive of each other, while my mum is going through this disease.

I had a really positive experience with Dr. Liss. His staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Liss did a through Neuro exam, sat down with me and actually listened to me. He was very through in his explanation of medications and treatments. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a Neurologist.

He is very knowledgeable and friendly. The most important thing is that he actually listens and let his patients talk. He always takes his time and ask more questions to figure out the problem. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Super over rated

I was referred to Dr. Liss as part of an Alzheimer's research study. That he would be involved in a research study while located in a city not known for the depth or breadth of its health care facilities is already a positive note about his practice. He is using a pretty unique community health approach to Alzheimer's. He gives free monthly public education forums in a meeting facility in his suite. He provides free walk-in cognition testing to establish a baseline for on-going evaluation of his patients. He takes the position that many memory problems of older adults are not actually Alzheimer's and are treatable; he also believes that we are on the verge of being able to prevent the progression of Alzheimer's if it is caught in time. About the only concern I had about Dr. Liss was whether his explanation of the genetics of Alzheimer's was too fast-paced and advanced for the typical patient. Perhaps he did not consider me the typical patient and addressed it to my level of understanding. His public forums do seem to be pitched for a general audience. Columbus should be proud to have a practitioner like Dr. Liss available.
