Dr. Main has helped me so much over the years. Got both knee replaced and a left shoulder replacement surgeries. He is an fantastic surgeon and a super kind doctor. He's retiring soon and I will miss him very much.

I dislocated my shoulder. Called Dr. Main’s office and they told me to come in. Amber had an X-ray taken and called Dr. Main who was not in the office. He dropped what he was doing and came in. They did a nerve block and put the shoulder back in place. I’m in a sling for 2weeks and will go see him then

Dr. Main did a great job with my teenager daughter. He made us very comfortable and took the time to explain everything to us.

I thank God for Dr. Main coming into my life. I have had four joint replacements in four years. I would highly recommend him for care. He is honest and straightforward about your condition and the best method of treatment. He listened to my concerns and heard my goals for joint replacement by my 60th year and made it happen for me. My case is a bit unusual as my recovery and length of recovery was pretty swift for each surgery. I'm currently released after 7 weeks out from a reverse shoulder replacement. Do the work, embrace PT and you could possibly have the same results as me.

Relaxing environment for pre-op, informative with no surprises

I have been with Dr. Main for years and would not give him up for anything. Amber is part of of his office and I love her to death. Being as great as he is, I don’t want anyone to know how great because I will never get in for an appointment. I trust Dr. Main with my life and will always trust his great work. I’m no spring chicken but am treated like family.

Amazing care and just a talented surgeon. He cared for my daughter after she tore her ACL, lateral and medial meniscus. He is all about preservation of the young athletes joints. My daughter had the worst lateral meniscus tear possible, and thankfully he is a forward thinker and Wisconsin Specialty Surgery Center had advanced technology for lateral repairs. He was able to repair the lateral meniscus instead of resecting it, which is very common for that type of injury. Super thankful he was able to make that repair and my daughter will be able to get back to volleyball! His PA-C Amber is an absolute delight to work with as well, highly recommend Dr. Main and his staff at Comprehensive Orthopaedics.

Had rotator cuff surgery. Experienced no pain after 2 days. After 7 weeks my shoulder is doing great with no pain. Because of my diabetes, Dr Main took my rehab slower than normal and it’s going well. Dr Main is a Superstar

I have weight issues and after seeing the original doctor I was refferred to for knee replacement surgery I left his office feeling discouraged & hopeless & hurt that it was going to be impossible for me to have a successful knee surgery . After being referred to doctor Main & seeing him for a consultation , I went ahead and had him replace both of my knees . He is a professional , caring doctor and I will recommend him to anyone . His staff is equally as professional and friendly as he is . Thank you so much Doctor Main !

No pain after my surgery. 2nd day after surgery still no pain. Dr. Main did an excellent job. Will definitely go back when my other knee gives out. I will let others know what a good job he did

Dr. Main did an excellent job on my shoulder and elbow. I am just 8 weeks post op and pretty much back to normal. I had almost no pain after the procedure and my PT is going well. I should be fully recovered in about 4 months with no limitations. I would highly recommend Dr. Main to anyone who has a shoulder issue without any hesitation.

Dr.Main worked a miracle on my shoulder. I tore the rotator cuff barefoot water skiing. The injury was so severe my Radioligist was shocked by what he saw and said he did not know if it could be repaired.I saw 7 different surgeons before Dr. Main and none sounded to thrilled to do the surgery or that they could get good results. It took two surgeries and over a year and a half of therapy but I have since been back barefooting and lead a normal life. Except for limited external rotation the shoulder is doing great almost 7 years after the surgery. Dr. Main is the best thank you so much.

I should have written this earlier,but didn't know I could do this.my family's experience with Dr.Main,has been wonderful. First , he was the surgeon called,when my Mother was hurt in an automobile accident. The care and compassion he showed my Mom was over and above what any Dr. has shown. Years later my son had an accident,he shattered the heels of his feet. Now rather than complain about the shoddy care he initially received, I will tell you I made a call to Dr. Main personally,told him about my son,explain what had taken place and asked for his help.Dr. Main could not do the surgery himself,but did get all arranged for my son to see a Dr. who could. The surgeon and hospital we were sent to,took excellent care of my son,without Dr.Mains help I doubt my son would have ever been able to have the surgery. you Dr.Main.
