Dr. Song takes the time to explain everything so that you can understand. He makes you feel like you are the only patient for the day. After receiving procedure, he actually called to follow up on how I was feeling and with results. Would highly recommend Dr. Song.

After meeting Dr. Song I knew he was the right doctor for me. He is patient, understanding and all around wonderful.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jonathan Song. In addition to being the very best at what he does, he is a spectacular human being. He spends a significant amount of time with you. He teaches you more about your body than you've ever known. He approaches surgery as a team decision and is so wise and gifted in his approach to surgery. On a scale of 1 to 4, I would give him a 10 - that is how good he is. If my Daughter ever needed consultation and surgery, this would be the person I would send her to in a heartbeat.

I would not hesitate one second in recommending Dr. Song. I had great difficulty with Dr's with my young daughter, and one visit for a 2nd opinion to Dr. Song saved her from unnecessary surgery and got her back on her feet within 2 weeks after a cyst removal. He takes so much time with you and makes you feel like you are his only patient. I cannot speak more highly of him. Any potential wait time for an appointment is worth it.

Dr. Jonathan Y. Song is the best, most skilled robotic and laparascopic surgeon for female issues that I could have possibly found. I went to seven doctors regarding my intramural and submucous fibroids that were causing me tremendously heavy and long periods each month. Six of the doctors said that it would be impossible to remove my intramural fibroid as it was too deeply embedded within the uterine cavity. The seventh doctor recommended Dr. Jonathan Song and told me that she trusted his skill as a surgeon 100%. I watched some videos of Dr. Song performing laparascopic surgery that he had posted on youtube, and even before meeting him, I had complete trust in his technical abilities. I knew that if anyone would be able to remove my fibroids, it was this doctor. I encourage you to watch these you tube videos if you can stomach them because you will see the extreme dexterity and ease with which he operates. He has performed over 1,000 laprascopic surgeries in the past. Dr. Song is a very soft-spoken, gentle doctor who takes his time with his patients. He spent a full hour with me at each visit and answered all of my questions. He had full confidence in his ability to remove the fibroids and did not consider it to be a challenge of any kind. He said it would start out as a laprascopic surgery, but that his ego was not invested in maintaining this type of surgey. If it appeared that an abdominal myomectomy would be safer for me or would result in greater success, he would not hesitate to convert. I liked this attitude because in the end, I didn't care how long my recovery was or how big my incision was. I just wanted my fibroids removed safely. On the day of the surgery, I met with the anesthesiologist first and she told me that she would have to wait to start the anesethesia as Dr. Song likes to meet with his patients first beforehand so that they will remember speaking with him prior to the surgery. He came to see me and I felt so reassured by his gentle bedside manners and genuine concern for my well being. That is of course the last thing I remember before I woke up after the surgery.The surgery was a tremendous success - a laprascopic/robotic myomectomy. Seven fibroids were found and removed. (The ultrasound only showed 2) and mild endometriosis was removed. Dr. Song met with my husband right after the surgery to go over what had been done and to reassure him that everything had turned out well. He then called me later that day while I was recovering in the hospital. The following morning, he came to check on me before his surgery. I felt so comforted by his presence and genuine concern for me. He handed me color photographs that were taken during the surgery. While he was sitting with me going over the photographs, an aide from food service entered the room to bring me my breakfast. Dr. Song personally cleared my table and assisted the aide in placing the tray on my table. He then thanked the aide for his assistance and hard work. This was very touching to see and all of the nurses confirmed to me that Dr. Song is a very kind, approachable doctor, who takes great concern over his patients. My two week follow up appointment is tomorrow and I can't wait to see him again to thank him for the amazing job that he did!!!

Dr. Song is a great doctor. He is gentile, kind, and a great listener. He runs his practice with a great deal of consideration and compassion. He goes out of his way to discuss your health with you personally as well as anything else going on in the office. This creates a cohesively run office experience. -This all coming from me, a very "all-things-natural", homebirthing mom. I am lucky to have found him.
