The BEST OF THE BEST Period!!!!!!!!!!I have been with Dr. Kuo for 9 years. his services and the realization that Pain Killers taken accordingly give people quality of life. Not his fault if you take them like aspirins. Responsible adults like me need them to live life. I stupidly moved to SC where you can curl up and die from the pain and they don't give a damm.

Hudson Medical changed my life. Dr. Kuo is my main doc but I have also seen many other anesthesia-pain specialists (Dr. Rances, Dr. Kohler, Dr. LaSalle) and one of their physiatrists (Dr. Bonte). I’ve found each to have wonderful bedside manner, diagnostic competence, and excellence in performing pain management procedures with minimal pain. (The only doctor who lacks these positive characteristics, in my opinion, is Dr. Palvia; since a bad experience — i.e., I woke up during a pain management procedure and he wouldn’t give me more sedation and I was screaming as he finished the last few zaps... This’s a procedure I’ve had performed regularly by all the other docs and this was the *only* time there was an issue — I’ve asked the staff not to assign me to him, and there’s never been a problem.) The support staff of nurses, assistants, techs are wonderful and knowledgeable and gentle and friendly. The administration gets things done immediately — I never have to call back and remind and beg and plead for them to send a script, submit a prior auth, write a letter, fax records, etc., as is common with other medical practices. It can be very tough to get them on the phone — the phone lines are jammed throughout much of the day — but I’ve learned to simply email the front desk, and I always, always get a quick response. This is a really special practice, and I’ve probably sent about ten people to them, including my mom. My former pain management clinic did injectable nerve blocks and opioids only. The doctors at Hudson offer a wide array of state-of-the-art pain management procedures designed to keep their patients off of pills... And as someone who has been successfully treated with Botox, epidurals, and radiofrequency ablation, I speak from personal experience when I say that their procedures are life-changing. If I’d remained at my old pain management clinic and never found Hudson I would probably be addicted to pills and living on Disability... I’m not being dramatic — that’s just the truth.

Dxed my chronic headaches and set me up with a complex and ongoing treatment plan involving Botox, nerve blocks, and laser neurotomy. Went from daily migraines to six months without a headache :-) Excellent guy all around -- knowledgeable and thoughtful, friendly (amazing memory for patients' names), and willing to listen and advise and try things out. Very skilled with his minimally-invasive procedures and is helping pave the road to a future where we'll have options for pain that go beyond opioids. Staff is the best I've encountered; very nice and get everything done -- even complex crap with insurers -- as quickly as possible. Super easy to schedule an appointment and procedures. Practice is lovely and clean and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I've seen all the anethesiology pain docs at the practice and cannot say enough about Drs. Kuo and Kohler. I don't love Drs. Palvia and Rances -- they're not as knowledgeable nor as nice, and they do NOT give enough sedation during their procedures (which I don't get the reason for since it's propofol and thus wears off in 5 minutes); I once woke up at the end of nerve-zapping procedure with either Rances or Palvia and told him I was awake and he said it was fine, he was almost done, but I had to endure a minute or two of nerve-burning without sedation, and I could feel the "echo" of that excruciating (and wholly unnecessary) pain for weeks. So yeah: Ask for Kuo or Kohler!!!

Dr. Kuo is fantastic. He is very professional, practical, and knowledgeable. He is patient and answers all your questions. His office staff is great, they often go above and beyond. I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Kuo and his team for pain management. Beautiful office and ease of making appointments is a cherry on top.

I was in a wheelchair for various back ailments one of which were acute spasms. After my first epidural treatment combined with medications Dr. Kuo prescribed I was able to venture out of the chair and was able to begin physical therapy. A year and a half later I am walking well with a walker. I continue to go for trigger point treatments, epidurals every 3 months and medication. They also have physical therapy right in the same facility. The space is amazing and the environment is beautiful. When I was first experiencing the spasms I went to 2 different well known hospitals. They could not give me a date for the epidurals for a month. When I found Dr. Kuo they saw me the same day! Hudson Pain and Spine along with his staff gave me my life back!

Dr. Bowlva Lee was amazing, very professional, and knowledgeable. By the time I returned home from my appointment I already had an email giving me access to an online account as well as a reminder of my next appointment. Looking forward to my follow-up appointment! This past Friday I went for my follow-up appointments and saw Dr. Alexander Rances and Dr. Jonathann Kuo, another amazing experience! I was extremely early to my appointment and I was still seen in a timely manner. The staff continues to amaze me of how nice and on top of everything they are. I have to say, I've frequented a lot of medical offices these past few months and this is by far the best! Thanks for everything!

After suffering from back pain for about a year, I finally followed my family doctor's advice and went to see a pain management doctor. I was first skeptical about Dr. Kuo, seeing how young he is, but you really can't judge a book by its cover, and I'm sorry I thought that of him. Everyone in the office was very patient, a good listener, and explains well. The office staff is also very helpful. This office has a charm to it and it made me feel comfortable.

I came to see Dr. Kuo for back pain and all he wanted to do was push procedures on me. I told them I had already had procedures in the past (which did not work), but they didn't seem to like that answer. I felt as though they are all about unnecessary procedures. I will say that it was easy to get an appointment on short notice, but I can't I would recommend him to any friends of mine.

Dr. Kuo is an experienced and knowledgeable professional. He listens carefully to your complaint. After diagnosing, without talking down to his patients, he then suggest and/or recommends treatment suitable to your situation. His support staff is amazing as well. I have and will continue to recommend others to him.

Very slow office. Waited over an hour to see the doctor.Come to find out my procedure needs an authorization which took over three weeks to get any answers from the staff. I do not recommend this office.

Unfortunately, I suffer from severe scoliosis and have mobility and pain issues. I found Dr. Kuo and his caring team by happy accident online, and I feel blessed that I did. Dr. Kuo has a deep understanding and knowledge about my condition, and treats me with respect and compassion. The staff are equally friendly and professional. The office is clean and beautiful, and I have never been kept waiting. Everyone remembers my name and greets me with a smile. And Dr. Kuo has improved the quality of my life with his comprehensive treatment plan. I wholeheartedly endorse Hudson Spine and Pain Medicine, and if you need help this is the place to go.

The office is well run and the staff is super friendly. I like the positive atmosphere that the staff displays. It is professional but it also feels like I'm home. The doctor can be trusted and that means allot.

Dr. Kuo is an amazing doctor and all that but I DO NOT feel comfortable waiting outside with the unfriendly staff at the reception. Also my IV for my anesthesia was painful and not done correctly. There was blood on my pants when one of the ladies did it. The staff that helped me with my procedure was so nice and courteous towards me as I was very anxious. They helped me through my procedure step by step. Kuo helped me with my back pain tremendously. I really do appreciate it! The staff also called me to check up on me, which is awesome! Highly recommended!! But have one of the doctors do your IV instead.

Rushed. Cold. Condescending. Does not perform physical exam before injections. Does not explain procedure being performed. Does not talk about possible side effects. Is COMPLETELY unsympathetic to patient's pain. Does not check on patient after 30 minute recovery from anesthesia. Just awful -
