Highly competent surgeon and doctor. Very good at explaining all options for each scenario. Highly recommended.

He is like our family practitioner. He has done a knee replacement on my mom, and she is perfect. He has done ACL repairs on my eldest daughters knees, he has taken care of my "tennis elbow" and he has taken care of my youngest daughter's stress fracture in her foot. As long as you follow his rules, everything works out perfectly!

Dr. Simon surgically repaired my rotator cuff and most recently performed total knee replacement. On both occasions I have nothing but great things to say about him. He listens, treats first (before jumping right into surgery) and when the decision is made that surgery is the answer he totally informs of the circumstances and the procedure. His assistant, Helene, at the Orangeburg office is also very helpful. The Joint Replacement Center at Nyack is also a very well run area of the hospital. Everything pertaining to my surgery ran smoothly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

From my first visit to my last (post shoulder replacement) everything met or exceeded my expectations. Dr. Simon's staff was polite and exceedingly thorough. Dr. Simon listened to all my questions and concerns and addressed everything with respect and just enough humor to put a patient completely at ease. Dr. Simon performed the total joint replacement of my right shoulder. Three months after the surgery my expectations have been exceeded by far. So, not only was the surgery successful, but my experience with his office and staff has been great. Dr Simon is also a compassionate individual. Although Dr. Simon appears to be a good surgeon his office staff in both offices leave little to be desired. You can never get through to the Orangeburg office, you leave a message and no one calls back. Then they give you a number to the Pamona office that rings and rings and rings. When I called back to the Orangeburg office to see if I wrote down wrong number, they told me there is no answering machine or service and they are probably on phone with another patient since it is a doctor's line therefore just keep calling back. For the love of god.... in this day and age you cannot have someone picking up the phones!! You want to frustrate a client that just wants to make an appointment ? Just wrong...

Dr. Simon misdiagnosed left hip pain that I had as bursitis. I was sent to a hospital to have two bursae drained and cortisone applied which I did. There was no pain relief. I sought the opinions of two other orthopedists and was told that this was a wrong diagnosis and that I needed a hip replacement, which Dr. Simon emphatically indicated to me that I did not need. Since the cortisone was administered I have to wait 3 months for this replacement, which means three months of pain for me. Additionally, since I am a university professor and must have this done at the end of the summer 2018, my entire Fall academic semester has been thrown into chaos. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS DOCTOR!

I recently had a total knee replacement on my right knee, and couldn't be happier with the results! Dr. Simon explained everything I needed to know before the surgery, and took the time to answer all questions on follow-up visits. It's wonderful to be pain-free now. I definitely recommend him!

Dr. Simon replaced my right knee and right shoulder (reverse replacement), both of which had been causing me excruciating pain. As far as I'm concerned he walks on water. His expertise, knowledge and kindness know no bounds.

On 1/25/17 I had both knees replaced by Dr. Simon. He explained everything before the surgery in terms i could understand. the surgery went very well. I was up and walking in two days.

I had never seen him previously and when he walked into the room he was gracious smiling and eager to help me. My husband was with me and was also very impressed the way Dr. Simon treated us. I give him my highest recommendation. I used to travel into NY city thinking that the doctors in the city are better. Dr. Simon showed that this is not the case.

Dr. Simon actually initially evaluated me when he was supposed to be on vacation. He scheduled me for a follow up appointment with my wife so we could know all the details of my surgery(Labrum). Post surgery, the follow up appointments were great! I would highly recommend him for labrum and rotator surgery! I prefer the orangeburg office for convenience, but both offices were great!

Dr. Simon is excellent in all aspects of his profession and specialty. He knows his field, is compassionate toward his patients, and accommodates their needs. If you need an orthopedist and a specialist in total knee replacement, Dr. Simon is the clear choice, and he is right here in Rockland.

Dr. Simon is an excellent, knowledgeable surgeon who pulls no punches. Everything he explained to me about my injury and subsequent surgery was easy to understand, and his timeline for recovery was on the nose. I would highly recommend this surgeon for repairing a torn Rotator Cuff.

Your search is over! you want the best surgeon for your joint replacement, well you have just found him, and you don't have to travel to NY City. But remember you must follow his instructions, and be prepared to do the work, and it will be fine. Dr. Simon replaced my knee and I'm now able to return to a full active life. "God Bless Him"
