Everybody was so nice and friendly

I had been seen by another doctor at another practice for arthritis flare up in my ankle. Other doctor gave me a shot in my ankle, but has not helped. My ankle kept getting worse. Dr Acevedo asked where in my ankle the shot was given. He said it was given in the wrong place. So Dr A gave me a shot in a different place in my ankle. Within 2 days my ankle was much better. He is efficient and knowledgeable. I was grateful to get some pain relief after months of pain.

Everyone was very nice and helpful from check-in to check out. Dr. Acevedo was easy to talk to and answered all my questions.

Excellent Orthopedic Surgical care! Dr Jorge Acevedo, PA Stephen Peppers, Reception & Scheduling, X-ray, & PT Gil & assoc. therapists. All Southeast Orthopedic Specialists services were excellent, professional, and helped me successfully repair and rehab my RT ankle fractures from an Aug 5th, 2023 fall while hiking in mid-Michigan’s Wilson State Park. My RT ankle surgical ORIF hardware placement, endoscopic joint cleanup, and follow up care have got me back walking, and even ok to start bike riding again. Thank you for repairing my mature bones and joint back to my active life style of RVing, hiking, swimming, biking and even dancing with my husband!

My visit today was great with Dr. Acevedo and Hunter. I am very frustrated that my fracture was not taken care of correctly from the beginning when I went to the walk in appt at your clinic on Oct 22. I feel this has hindered my healing process. The walk in took xrays, put me in the wrong type of boot and the size was too small. My toes were sticking out of it and could have been bad had I hit my toes. I was concerned it was too small but the MA with Dr. Brown said it was fine, who by the way should not have fitted me for it because she was not educated in DME. They then scheduled me for the next appointment with a PA, he was great but I wish they would have insisted to see the doctor. Again, I waited all this time to now be told I need a CT scan. I am hoping Dr. Acevedo can get me back to walking again sooner than later

I have seen Dr. Acevedo a few times for my ankle issues he identifies the current problem and explains what needs to be done, very professional and gets to the point

I had been to several other providers with little relief and Dr. Acevedo diagnosed my issue and set a course towards healing. Foot hasn't felt this good in months.
