I have been going to the Doctor for a while now he has a fantastic chair side manner yes the wait is unbearable at times I am with whom ever said they could do a lot better than Jessica she would be better being a manager at Burger King but the rest of the staff I see nothing wrong with keep up the good work

this is the only thing I would change I have waited up to 3.5 hours to see him hurting the whole time but once you see him I guess it is worth he is kind spot on with what is going onThanks Dr. Matus

Unfortunately for Dr. Matus, your office staff can make or break you! Dr. Matus is a fine doctor and would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for Jessica! She is a rude, condescending piece of work with no compassion whatsoever! Dr. Matus, I am certain you can do and deserve better than that!

Best neorologist ever

I have been going to Dr. Matus for four years. He is an excellent Doctor that spends quality time with you! He is very thorough, consistent, and helpful.!! His bedside manner is the best ever. Nurses at McKinney Medical Center love him. He really cares about his patients. He actually called me at home one night to clarify something.

CAME WITH STATUS EPILEPTICUS WAS INDUSED TO COMA LIFE SUPPORT STOPPING SEIZURE EXCELLENT SERVICE

Jessica NEVER does what she says she is going to do. He really needs to replace her.

Dr.Matus is my 50 yr old handicapped adult sons Dr. He has seizures, stroke, right side 3/4 paralysis, verbally challenge, in wheelchair, wears diapers. The Dr. is wonderful with him and us. He is sometimes 50 & sometimes 4. He is the Joy of our life!

He is the best doctor I've ever seen in my life. I've seen him since I was 17 years old I'm now 29 years old. He listens to his patients and seems to care about them all. He's amazing. Any problems I've ever had he's got to the bottom of it all. And all my other doctors talk back and forth to him and his staff. They are all amazing. I do not like going to Sherman bc the wait is longer. Denison is better for me

The amount of time you spend waiting is incomprehensible. It took me two and a half hours one time just to get in to the examination room then another thirty minutes for him to see me. Also he gives out hydrocodone to anyone even if they do not need it.

I did have to wait a long time in the waiting room but I didn't mind after seeing how friendly and kind the staff is. Dr. Matus was very kind and helped me feel comfortable. I can tell he's been doing this for a while, he is very educated and took his time explaining everything to me. I'm sure the wait is so long because he really takes his time with each individual patient. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Matus was awesome! Anyone who needs to see a neurologist in the DFW area should go to him! He takes the time to listen to you and explains everything very well! Making appointments with his office staff was a bit difficult, they even got my name and birthday wrong. However I am not rating the office staff, I am rating him! Best doctor I have had in a while!

Neurologist can be really odd. Dr Matus is a real human, with a real heart, and is very current on all research. He'll forever be my favorite neurologist. He's a really special guy and I'm so glad he's part of our team. His office people have serious attitude problems, though. they are disorganized and unfriendly. You have to ignore them and focus on Dr Matus.

Hes a great doctor he explains everything to you thats what i like and makes you feel like he really care for u.

I love Dr. Matus he takes time to listen. He is very knowledgable. He cares.Would and have recommended him to family and friends. The only problem is the staff. Have trouble getting messages through to him and in the Sherman office some are very rude. I choose to go to the McKinney office. Staff is smaller and more personable.

I love Dr Matus he is amazing. He really is caring and gentle. He was someone to help me when no one else would. I would recomend to anyone and everyone.

Once again, so thankful for this dedicated doctor. I still say the office folks should be replaced asap. Dr Matus is on his game all the time. Always thinking, always describing. He's a remarkable doctor.

After a frustrating journey of unhelpfulness from other neurologists for my daughter's atypical seizure presentation, Dr Matus was reassuring and supportive. His years of experience assisted his being the first neurologist to be able to accurately diagnose and medicate my daughter. He has been an encouragement and a very good listener. His office staff can be very frustrating to work with, often being highly UN-helpful, but Dr Matus himself is a dream.

Dr. Matus is an excellent Dr.! He saved my life and I highly recomend him to everyone I meet. The only problem I have ever had is with nursing staff. They do not care about the doctors patients and most of the time I feel like they do not even let Dr. matuse know when i have called not to mention it always takes several phone calls just to get one simple quetion answerd. I believe that if Dr. Matuse could take one day off and sneek in the back door to listen to how his staff treats his patients he would have a brand new staff by the following day, with the exception of maybe one current staff member. Its pretty bad when Dr. Matuse sends you to get a CT and you call back eleven days later and no one knows anything about it, so how can he treat his patients if his staff doesnt do there job and get test results back to him? Even though Dr. Matus is in my opinion the best their is, a horrible clinicle staff makes it where I feel like I have to basicly just show up to make my own apt. or he would never know i was needing to see him! I would never try to see another Dr. even though just today when i called his nurse recomended that I try to see another practioner since Dr. Matus is so busy, and Dr.Matus hisself has told me I shouldnt worry about seeing another Dr unless he recomends a specialist. I still highly reccomend Dr.Matus to everyone even if you have to deal with an uncaring staff to see him. Thank you Dr. Matus for saving my life.

Insurance company has faxed him paperwork to fill out 3 times this month, and has never returned it. Outpatient Therapy complains about this too.Difficult to engage in a conversation. He primary talks at you, not with you.
