I had Urinary retention due to enlarged Prostate. Took the time to explain everything to me with a smile. Listens. That is very important besides his expertise made me so comfortable, that I would not trade that office or Dr. Lu his assistant Doctor for any other Urologist. I know medicine quite well, and I am very Happy to have him as my personal Urologist. Thank you to all the staff as well as being courteous to their patients.

This guy Rocks! bedside manner is fantastic, he is well spoken, listen well and makes you feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a great urologist!

He called me the day i got discharged just to check up on me because when he came by the hospital, I was gone already. He wanted to make sure that I was ok. He is a very nice, pleasant and kind doctor.When I was worried about my stent not being removed because of insurance issues, he said he will remove it even if I do not have an insurance. He makes sure that he visits all his patients that are admitted in the hospital everyday. And if he knows you are sick and you do not call him, he calls you to check up on you. BEST DOCTOR EVER.

My total experience with Dr. Joe De Orio was very uplifting, professional, understanding and happy. He was very sensitive to me and my needs at the time I was his patient for prostate cancer. Everything: the availability of appointments, promptness in returning phone calls as well as his medical appointments, his courteous staff, Diana, his bedside manner, his time spent with me in the hospital and keeping me abreast together with follow up and further treatment was completely and beyond satisfactory, I am grateful to him and his expertise in taking excellent care of my medical needs so well; It is now two years since my ordeal in which I was completely at ease, thanks to Dr. Joe De Orio. Dr. DeOrio is the very best urologist I know of. He is thorough in his examinations & exceptionally qualified as a urology surgeon. I have know Dr. DeOrio since he was born. His professional & personal credentials are impeccable
