Dr. Roller (Dr. Kwon) and their team are outstanding!!! They have the best tools to make sure you are going to do this right. I’m 5 months out from surgery, I’m down 60 pounds and I’ve never felt better. I have gone from taking 20 prescription pills and 4 insulin shots daily to now taking 3 prescription pills daily and NO MORE INSULIN (was taken off all diabetic medications at 6 weeks post op). This is the best decision I have ever made for myself! I encourage ANYONE who is contemplating weight loss surgery, DO IT. Don’t wait CHOOSE YOU! This will be the best decision you will ever make for yourself!

After struggling with my weight for years and many failed diet attempts, I decided to have weight loss surgery. I had heard good things about Dr Roller so I decided to go with him for my surgery. I have not been disappointed with my surgery! The weight loss and all the follow up care has been amazing! Would highly recommend this team for your bariatric needs!

The Roller team is with you every step of the way from visits with the dietician, education, pre surgery, and of course post surgery. There are consistent check ins and follow ups and they have a nurses line to call anytime you have a question. They are patient, kind, and so supportive. I really thought I would be the one person that WLS would not work for ans I was so wrong. It works and the entire Roller team is really there to support you through this. I am 9 weeks post surgery and I feel so good and just wish I had done this sooner. If your on the fence about this, please just call them and get a consultation. They are truly wonderful. It is my strong opinion that Dr. Roller was rude, arrogant and condescending. He was upset that I chose to purchase my vitamins outside of his office. He was irritated that I wanted the gastric sleeve over the bypass or switch. Post op, I was very sick vomiting blood for 24 hours. He never came to see me and the nurses had a hard time getting ahold of him. Dr. Mourot made rounds, the next morning, and made sure that I received the help I needed. I saw Dr Roller at my “two week checkup”. He was extremely hateful that I had deviated from his protocol. Once I made him aware that he was off on my days post op he never apologized for his behavior. He was extremely unprofessional and innapropriate. I even sent a PM on his business page and a very sweet nurse called me. I voiced my concerns to her and never heard a word from Roller. Once he got his money he didn’t care about my feelings. Very disappointed.

Overall I've very much enjoyed my experience with Roller Weight Loss. While it's true that aside from the seminar I did not personally see Dr. Roller until my pre-op appt I still believe I have been treated well and taken care of. He has a lot of patients, and is only one man. I think it's absurd to expect him to personally tend to each patient at every appointment, there is simply no way. At the pre-op appointment, the only notable amount of his time I was allotted, he was very attentive and made sure all the bases were covered. After surgery he personally updated my family on my status, came to see me in my room the next day, and answered my after hours emergency calls will compassion and understanding rather than making me feel silly for calling him after hours with concerns that turned out to be nothing. I have not yet had my post-op appointment or the years worth of appointments I'll be having with his office, but even if I only see him at the first post-op appointment that would be fine with me. He's trained his staff very well to help his patients in his absence, and I do not feel slighted by seeing nurses and nutritionists. I know at the moment I'm seeing his assistants, Dr. Roller is helping to better someone else's life the way he did mine and it's their turn. The reviewer above obviously expects nothing less than for the doctor to single handedly perform multiple surgeries a day, do rounds at the hospital, and simultaneously meet each of his patients at their every appointment personally. I simply do not agree with that review at all, and would do it all again if I had to. If you'd like a surgeon who has enough time on his hands to cater to your every need then perhaps you would do better to select one who isn't so excellent as to be in excessively high demand.
