Everyone in office Very professional, and explained my situation. After having two surgeries for a bunion, ended up having a toe fused now having to live in pain, can’t bend toe, my toe not flat to the floor and having to compensate my walk to one side. I’m still not convinced my situation can not be fixed to relieve pain which was main reason for my visit. Disappointed to hear with highly regarded expertise could not offer other possibilities to relieve the pain I endure. Using metal plates in feet in does not always help the problems when I have heard with other patients as well have had same surgery were left with same pain, and same situation. Thank you for your time.

Great team he has at the office in Pooler. First time to a foot Dr. He did great at explaining what was going on in a way I would understand. He gave excellent tips on things to do to help the problem and didn't mind talking through things.

He and his office staff were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable! He has already in the first office visit done more for my feet than all my doctors in Brunswick in over 4 years !

Hi my name is Teresa Tremble I recently moved from Phoenix AZ. No idea what doctors were here. I looked up Orthopeadic specialist saw Dr JUHA Imari JAAKKOLA picture, liked his face he looked very kind and reminded me of my Dr. J.Schmidt. Plus I checked his credentials etc. Once meeting Dr.Jay ( I was told he doesn’t mind to answering to Dr. Jay ) I’ve been very pleased. So thank you for helping me thru my surgery journey. I pray that we will continue our Doctor patient relationship. Dr Jay deserves a “5” ?

Dr. Jaakkola was very helpful, as was his entire staff. Very thorough and explained everything extremely well. Would recommend him to anyone who needs his expertise!

Dr. Jaakkola was outstanding- probably the best new physician experience I’ve had in years. He was extremely present and took all the time I needed to answer my questions.

He was very good at letting me know what he think what is wrong. He request another testing to be sure of my problem.

I thought the doctor did a good job wins his assessment that was not my Achilles tendon, but possibly a nerve in my lower back. A previous doctor I wanted to do surgery on the Achilles which would have been a waste of time and money. The doctor was very thorough and was able to answer any questions. My girlfriend wanted to be at the visit and she felt very comfortable with him. I would definitely recommend optim orthopedics as well as the doctor.

He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained my diagnosis and treatment options. He showed me exercises to do at home. Overall it was a great experience

I saw JUHA I. JAAKKOLA, MD in Statesboro, GA Optim Ortho regarding arthritis in my feet. He sent me to the Hanger Clinic to get fitted for arch supports. I drove all the way to Savannah to Hanger Clinic. Upon arrival I met with an associate who said she was suppose to measure me for a right ankle brace. When I told her I think she had the wrong orders and she should call the doctors office to confirm because I was there not for an ankle brace but for arch supports. She said that was not her responsibility to call it was my responsibility to call. She insisted that she was correct to measure me for a right ankle brace. I explained that she did not even know why I was there and she replied well "have a nice day goodbye" so I left. Very rude people here at Hanger Clinic. Several days later Dr. Jaakkola's office called and said they sent over the wrong prescription. Later that day Hanger Clinic called and wanted to reschedule appointment. I think Dr Jaakkola is a good doctor but he needs to be measured by the quality of his staff and the business he refers his patients to. His office sent over the wrong prescription and Hanger Clinic would not call his office to confirm the prescription. I drove 1 hour away for this appointment with the Hanger Clinic only to be treated like I did not know what I was talking about. I do not plan to go back to this Hanger Clinc for anything due to their impatient and rude behavior. Dr Jaakkola needs to review why his office sent over the wrong prescription and why rude people work at Hanger Clinic. What a waste of time this was for me.

I was seen by the PA and he seemed to be rushing to get me out so he could go to the next patient! He actually spent a couple minutes gave prescription not sure I needed and see ya in a month. If I have go back in month I’d like to see my Doctor not the PA!

I enjoyed the care I received for my ankle yesterday as always Dr Jaakkola gave me all the answers for my ankle, I will always give him a high rating for care,
