Dr. Kuz may have saved my life. I'm so thankful to have seen him. Was having excruciating finger pain he wasted no time getting the procedure done same day just hour later. So sorry to his patients he had to push back in his schedule. You never see the behind the scenes reasons doctors are running behind but I have a new perspective now. He found I had fluid trapped under the nail turning into a staph infection. He really came to my rescue. Very nice man with a big heart. Thanks again to Dr Kuz for all you do!

I thought my first ever visit with Dr KUZ was a success. I got a very quick and accurate diagnosis and my plan was laid out very concisely. I look forward to his helping me correct my dual basal thumb arthritis one hand at a time.

Dr Kuz was friendly, professional and very good at his job. He talked with me regarding my symptoms while he examined my hand and thumb. He explained what he found and what he recommended which I greatly appreciated. His bedside manner was great and he was easy to talk to and had all the answers to my questions. I would recommend Dr Kuz to both my family and my friends.

Doctor Kuz again provided excellent care and service. I am so happy he always takes the time to discuss his work, my recovery plans along with always keeping my health in mind. I leave his office knowing exactly what to do and what is next etc. Highly recommended him and his staff they treat you like family.

Dr. Kuz was very professional and knowledgeable in regards to my left hand. I had an exam yesterday with surgery today. It was a quick surgery and I was awake through it all. The conversations were great in the OR. Thanks for being so thorough and kind.

Dr. Kuz is a highly competent surgeon. He will be completing a second ulnar nerve surgery for me. I was seen 10 minutes prior to my scheduled time. He covered all my questions and explained the surgery as well as chatgpt unlike other providers. Had I went to him right after my fall I may have had a better outcome due to past providers missing the diagnosis and not ordering additional tests based on symptoms. Driving to Grand Rapids to see him was a small inconvenience in relation to his expertise and surgical outcomes.

Went to Dr. Kuz for a second opinon of a surgery I had in Septemeber. He was very thorough as to getting all my other surgeons notes and information needed ahead of my visit. He took more x-rays to double check. He gave me hope that my hands lack of strenghth and its tightness could have improvement. Left his office not feeling so hopeless and in such limbo.

Had a very pleasant 1st time experience. Gave me honest and knowledgeable advice on what to do with my issue with the confidence that he can and will help future development of my issues.

I cannot even say enough good things about Dr. Julian Kuz. After I filled out the online registration, I only waited less than 10 minutes to be called back to the exam room. Dr. Kuz was so kind and thorough & knowledgeable in his explanations of what was going on with my hand. I was so appreciative that he listened to me and treated me with complete respect and did not talk down to me during my appointment. I never felt like he was rushing me out the door—he took ample time to make sure he had answered all of my questions. The best part was that he told me that I did NOT need basel joint replacement surgery after another hand surgeon had told me that I needed surgery within one year or else he wouldn’t be able to help me! I am so incredibly glad that I sought out a second opinion and found Dr. Kuz and that I was not subjected to an unnecessary surgery. It was completely worth driving 3 hours to meet with him! Thank you, Dr. Kuz!

I feel confident with Dr Kuz’s evaluation. He pointed out that the arthritis is my hand has caused much of my discomfort. There is no need for surgery at this point for which I am happy.

Can’t say enough good stuff about my experience. Very knowledgeable doctor. He took time with me and did not seem to be in a hurry to move on to his next patient although I know he was busy. I also loved the facility and deeply appreciated the fact that I was not forced to wear a useless mask. It was truly the best experience I have had at a doctors office since Covid hit in 2019.

I explained my symptoms to Dr Kuz of left thumb base and thumb muscle pain after crocheting using a tighter grip for the necessary stitches. He gently put my thumb through its full range of motion and gently pressed on the tendons in the area. The X-ray in the office revealed arthritis and tendinitis. He thoroughly discussed treatment options. Dr Kuz was very cautious when he examined my thumb. He is an excellent teacher. I will definitely go back to him if I have hand issues in the future.
