Dr. Julian Paul Price, MD

I was very pleased with Dr. Price's bedside manner and how he explained my medical condition and what my choices and probable outcomes would be. I tried the holistic approach but eventually went and had the caudal epidural. Dr. Price provided excellent care and explained each step as the procedure was being performed. I am no longer having acute backpain and I am very grateful to Dr. Price and his staff for their excellent care.

Dr Price saw my daughter previously in the ER so when I started having back issues I requested to see him. He has been very kind throughout the whole process, he explains things in terms I can understand and I feel like he gives me options to keep me involved in my plan of care. I also never feel rushed, which is amazing since I’ve also never had to wait.

I have been seeing Dr. Price on and off since 2014 with back problems. He did surgery on my back in 2014. A very successful surgery. Then arthritis set in as I’m getting older. I turned 69 in October, 2022. After PT and trying injections, that didn’t help, surgery was the only option to help with the back pain. Fusion, rod and screws. Some friends were telling me to think twice about having the surgery. That no way would they go through that. Well I had my surgery on January 23,2023. It’s been 2 weeks now and I’m doing great! No walker, or cane and pain free. The incision is a bit uncomfortable but that’s nothing compared to the back pain I had been having. All I can say is THANK YOU DR. Price! I wouldn’t trust my back with anyone but you!

My visit with Dr. Price, was awesome! He was able to assess the issue with my neck by ordering an MRI. On my next visit with him it was very informative to me. He told me the condition of my neck and put together a plan of treatment. He has a pleasant bedside manner, his professional, very polite and kind. He speaks in layman’s terms so that you can understand what he is talking about, when it comes to the medical terminology. I would refer him to anyone that’s having spinal issues.

Dr. Price is great, listen to my issues and his bedside manner’s are welcome.

Dr. Price performed my lumbar spinal fusion surgery several months ago. At 72, I was afraid it wouldn't go well, and I might have a slow recovery period. However, it went great! I could not be more pleased with him as a caring physician or his work as a talented, skilled surgeon. He literally gave me my life back. I have no more pain!! Dr. Price and his staff are amazing. I would recommend them to anyone. I'm so glad that I chose him to do my surgery!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Price! He listened to me and he offered a great way to alleviate the chronic pain I have had for years. I can't wait to have the spinal cord stimulator and pray that it will help me.

This was my first visit with Athens Orthopedic Clinic. I was very impressed with the pleasant demeanor and friendliness of everyone I had contact with, from the receptionist, med techs, x-ray techs, and Dr. Julian Price. It was evident that Dr Price had taken the time to carefully read and review the paperwork that I completed prior to my appointment and had a good understanding of the problem I was having with my back pain. He did a thorough physical examination and took the time to talk with me about the process of my case going forward. Being a relatively low income veteran, I am used to primarily being treated at VA medical facilities. Although the VA has been working to improve their level of care, it is still a night and day experience in terms of the difference in attitude, care, and overall professionalism one receives at a top level facility like Athens Orthopedic Clinic when compared to the typical VA hospital or community based outreach clinic.

I had spine surgery one year ago tomorrow and everything went as explained and much better than I expected. For one year after initial surgery pain I have had no pain. He and his staff were very good and I would recommend him and have already recommended two of my family.

I had surgery one year ago tomorrow to correct my 4th, 5th and 1st collapse vertebra. Everything went exactly has Dr. Price had explained and for one year I have had no pain. He was very good at explaining the details of surgery, follow up and what to expect. The staff at Athens Orthopedics was excellent also. I recommend Dr. Price to anyone with spine issues.
