I found him to be harsh and hurried, as if I was there to just waste his time . I have a long career in healthcare and he was undecidedly arrogant and dismissive. If someone comes to see you it’s because they feel it’s a problem that you might help with. No empathy here. I am now still house and car bound with chronic pain after being very active my whole life . Disappointing experience to say the least. Even the front desk associate said to me on the way out “ you’re done, that was quick!”

Dr. Greisberg is THE BEST, period. I feel so fortunate to have him as my physician.

I can see why the waiting room was bustling. Although it seemed like there was other doctors to see as well. My wait time was normal 20 min. Dr. Greisberg was kind, knowledgeable and not rushed at all. He took his time and gave me options. He did not push me into surgery like the local doctor I saw. If I decide my path leads to surgery (after following his advice for a month or two)... he will be my surgeon and I know I am in the best hands. Thank you dr. Greisberg.

For me, Dr. Greisberg was the doctor you always hope you'll get when something bad happens. After breaking my leg, I was taken by EMS to a community hospital with a wonderful orthopedics team, but one that did not have a strong depth of experience in trauma. I was in pain and to be quite honest a little overwhelmed after hearing that my injury would have long term repercussions. I reached out to Dr. Greisberg on the recommendation of a physician colleague and he handled the process of making a plan of care (which included transferring hospitals, insurance approval, figuring out if it was possible to get me home to my 4th floor walk-up while awaiting surgery and afterwards) with such incredible grace and attention to detail. This was not a clearly not a business transaction, this was simply what he does best which is treating traumatic fractures from the second they happen to when they are finally healed to the best extent of his abilities while addressing all the important milestones between. Incidentally, I spoke to many of the residents (of which I had previously been one, so I have a special commiserating bond) and across the board they would speak in unprompted and glowing terms about Dr. Greisberg both with respect to his knowledge and skill, but also his commitment to teaching. I could not have asked for a better experience and am incredibly grateful to him and his team for all their expertise, caring, and help along the way.

Severely lacks any listening skills/bedside manner - He told me my foot pain was due to my bunion that needed surgery without ever even asking me where my pain was located. After not feeling comfortable with his diagnosis, I got a second opinion from a doctor who actually asked me the basic questions a doctor should, and based on our conversation, she sent me to get an MRI done and it turns out I have a bone fracture (unrelated to my bunion). I completely agree that he speeds through the appointment and is extremely arrogant (not sure why when he misdiagnosed such a basic issue) and he will talk AT you, not with you. He shook my hand after talking at me loudly and quickly for a whopping 3 minutes and his body was halfway out of the door as I tried to sneak in a question or two before scheduling surgery with his secretary. He is money hungry and views his patients as bags of cash. I should mention I'm 23 years old, so I'm sure he thought he'd get a nice payout for a low-risk surgery since I'm young and healthy. My mother was so disgusted by this she called him to complain and his response was "Look on the bright side, at least she doesn't have to get surgery!" Ha, this guy is a joke and a half.

Although he is very knowledgeable, you feel rushed at your appointment. He spends a whopping 5 minutes with you. Medical assistant is sweet. Girl that checks you in has the personality of a wet mop. Not worth the trip

Dr. Greisberg is brilliant, easy to talk to and does not do unnecessary surgery. I saw him after many months of seeing other doctors and he gave me a simple solution which worked quickly. I was quite grateful and relieved.

I went to him with a broken tibia, and he told me it was healing. Six months later, I had revision surgery at another hospital. It had not healed at all.

There is a lot of paperwork for a new patient but that is expected. They took me back before I completed all my paperwork. The staff is great. The Dr truly values your time and health. Will definitely return if need be

Dr. Greisberg performed surgery on my toe last year. I had a tumor that needed to be removed. The doctor himself as well as every single nurse, office assistant and radiologist that I met with associated with the doctor was professional, caring and excellent overall. Dr. Greisberg's offices as well as Columbia Hospital is clean and comfortable. Dr. Greisberg did a wonderful job on my surgery and a year later I can't even see a scar. Thank you! All surgeons should be this wonderful.

Although my problem was not life threatening, I found Dr. Greisberg diagnosed it remarkably quickly, even when other doctors were confused. I'm back running with no pain better than ever, which for me is almost as important as life itself.

I could not say enough good things about Dr. Greisberg. He is brilliant yet not arrogant. He is caring, engaged, he is an excellent listener. He performed a very complicated calcanius surgery for my son and we are very pleased with the results and the doctor's care over a year long period. I am normally very critical of everything and have very high expectations - even the nurses at Columbia Presbyterian weren't all that according to me - but I could not think of a single negative with Dr. G. It's true that Jessica in his office is rude as heck, but she's worth enduring to get treatment from Dr. Greisberg.

I would like to say Dr Greisberg an angel in disguise i fractured my ankle in five places in2009 and since then I have seen a few doctors who have told me i have post traumatic arthritis and need an ankle fusion. I consulted with Dr Greisberg and he gave me different options which other dr's didnot eventake the time to suggest . I just had arthroscopic surgery and I must give my thanksto dr Greisberg and the wonderful dr's and nurses at Columbia there are notenough stars to rate them.

Doctor Greisberg himself is a great doctor, too bad that you can't never get to him because you have to deal with his NASTY and UNPROFESSIONAL SECRETARY Jessica. I changed doctors because of her, I feel that she should be reminded that she is NOT doing the patients a favor but she is doing her job for which I am sure SHE GETS PAID FOR!!

MY LEFT FOOT WAS SUCH A MESS I COULD HARDLY WALK. SEVERAL PROBLEMS INCLUDING CUTTING MY BUNIONS IN 1982, AS IF IT WAS A FASHION THING. DR. GREISBERG FIXED MY BUNION, STRAIGHTENED MY LEFT TOE WITH A ROD,2ND AND 3RD TOE CROSSED OVER, INTERNAL FRACTURE, CUT APART BONE-- BONE WAS DISCONNECTED-- AND FIXED IT TO A ROD. BONE GREW BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!

A true expert in foot and ankle surgery!! Intelligent, skilled and kind. I spend my work day on my feet all day, so when it came to choosing a surgeon to operate on my foot... he was the only logical choice!!!
