Dr. Justin Christopher Paul, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr Paul is a fine Spinal surgeon. He truly care about his patients. He is patient and explains his diagnosis and treatment options. He seems to try using a Conservative approach to treatment before more complex surgical solutions. My wife and I highly recommend Dr Paul and his staff.

Dr. Justin Paul is my spine surgeon. He did a very fine job preparing me for the fact that my recovery would not be instant due to my long standing history of back problems before coming to see him coupled with the very bad fall I had prior to coming to see him emergently. However my pain was so much better after surgery and he was very instrumental in my recovery. I am more than satisfied with the care received from Dr. Paul and his staff, both before and after my surgery.

When I went to Dr Paul I was having neck and shoulder issues for some time. It got to the point when I moved my arm it felt like I was being electrocuted all day long. They did MRI on my neck and Dr said two disks are really flat and should be replaced. He pushed to get done as soon as possible. Everyone at surgical center couldn’t be nicer. Five hrs after I went in , I walked out and haven’t had one pain since then. Thank you to Dr Paul for making that possible!

Dr. Paul is an amazing doctor and surgeon. I recently had back and neck surgery and he explained everything and took his time answering questions. I recovered quickly without any complications. Less than 6 months and I resumed all activities with no limitations. I had recommend him to my family and friends and to all that is reading this.

Allowing Dr. Paul to replace my herniated disc and stabilize my spine, was the best medical decision I ever made. His dedication to thoroughness saved me from what could have been months of excruciating pain. After an MRI revealed a bulging disc that was compressing the nerves in my spine, I was willing to try anything that would relieve discomfort so severe that I could barely walk. I tried steroid epidurals, medication, and physical therapy, but none of these treatments could reverse the herniation or return the disc to its original position. I became desperate for relief. I am very grateful to have met Dr. Justin Paul, who made it possible for me to enjoy life again. He was not satisfied with my lack of progress after trying the other remedies and insisted on additional X-rays. His attention to detail discovered slippage in my lumbar bone that was not previously diagnosed. His recommendation was for disc replacement with lumbar fusion. His detailed explanation of the procedure was very reassuring and after discussing his experience and success rate with the surgery, I was convinced that I would be in good hands. The surgery was five weeks ago and I feel like a new person. My mobility improves every day and I am confident that under his care, I will fully return to my normal routine in the weeks ahead. When I expressed the desire to share the X-ray showing the implant in my spine, Dr. Paul suggested t I take a cell phone photo of it. His friendly demeanor is coupled with suggestions that are comprehensive and beneficial. Dr. Paul’s staff is also very professional and helpful. Through his efficient receptionist, Patty, I always received prompt responses to my questions and concerns. I am 18 months post-op from L4/L5 fusion and feel great. Absolutely pain free and no more numbness or traveling nerve pain down my entire right leg. I can walk, job and run on my own. Dr. Justin Paul is a life saver!!!!

I am convinced this company that Dr. Paul works for has hired a company that monitors these reviews and eliminates the poor ones. Without getting into great medical detail I am a complex patient with more than one orthopedic problem. I went to this guy about one of those problems because he was listed as a surgeon who implanted a manufacture’s prosthetic to possibly help that problem. There are five clinical exams to confirm that I have that problem and it was clearly obvious he knew nothing about them because he didn’t do anything or ask the right questions. All he wanted to do is make more money for his employer and take more x-rays so that I could add to the pile that I brought with me. His conclusion was that I had something that I knew I had and had been already determined to not be a cause of my pain by several other spinal surgeons at prominent institutions. Thus he paid not one bit of attention to what I was there for and his only conclusion was I get more PT which I have already had years of and have only gotten worse. What a waste of my time and my insurance money. Save yourself the aggravation and question the unrealistic five stars and get someone else.
