Dr. Kelly Matthew Gallego, MD

From the beginning to the end, Dr Gallego has been better than I expected. He answered all questions straight forward in first and every appointment regarding my face lift. He is pleasant. I asked a nurse why my surgery was so long. Her answer was Dr Gallego was a perfectionist. I'm 71, and Dr Gallego took away 20 years . . . maybe 25.

I call him Dr. G... for the GIFT! and that is exactly what Dr. Gallego has been to me and my family. He is talented, dedicated and compassionate. He is honest and thorough. You are not just a number. He made all the difference in my life and helped complete my journey! I am a better person thanks to his great work! He is amazing and I appreciate him everyday of my life.

I loved the way my procedure turned out. My first visit I received juvederm above my eyebrows with some botox. I had deep wrinkles and some scaring, my results were great. I also had botox for my crows feet and wrinkles above my lip. I liked the whole process. Dr. Gallego explained everything and thoroughly answered all my questions and concerns. My face looked a "healthy normal" not abnormally tight. I would recommend Dr. Gallego to anyone. He was great to work with. He made me feel comfortable with my decision and my results were wonderful. I would choose Dr. Gallego again!

Dr. Gallego was very personable, compassionate, timely, & understanding. He was not judgemental when I explained why I wanted the procedure. I felt very comfortable with his staff & with him! I'm glad I chose Dr. Gallego!

Thorough, precise, confident, patient-able to ask as many questions as I needed. Extremely happy with the results! Was tired of lower back pain, deep bra indentations on my shoulders, and purchasing clothes to "fit" my chest instead of ones I liked.

I had sustained full thickness burns to my chest and arms. I had been to a number of physicians looking for treatment to improve the appearance of the scarring. Unfortunately no one had much to offer. I finally saw Dr. Gallego and was his patient for several years while he practiced in Sioux City, IA for treatment of these scars. He performed several scar revisions that made these scars less noticeable. He is not only a highly skilled surgeon, but also, a very kind man with a great deal of integrity. He was able to understand how this affected my self-confidence. This was important to me. I would recommend Dr. Gallego to anyone looking to see a plastic surgeon.

I was so please with Doctor Gallego. From answering all of my pre surgery questions to followup consultations, he was very thorough. My surgery was not covered by insurance and I was very surprised at the affordable cost. It was an easy decision. He really spent time with me post surgery. PLEASED!!!

I had a full tummy tuck 7 months ago. Dr. Gallego was very patient and very respectful. He was very upfront and very honest about what to expect with the procedure. He was also very up front about the fee's and there were no hidden or "after" the fact fee's. The follow up care was fabulous. He is a perfectionist and he made sure every detail was perfect. I have tried for years to tone/lose the stubborn fat around my thighs and hips. I had met Dr Gallego at one of his make over programs. What a dynamic person and knowing that my initial consultation was at no cost, I thought I have nothing to lose except my hips/thighs. After adding up all the money I spent on gym memberships and personal training sessions and the diet pills I could have had this MINOR surgery 2-3 times over. Face it Mother Nature is not kind to us after 45-50 hits. I had this SAME DAY surgery in at 8 am and out by 2 pm. Took a week off work not knowing how I would be moving but could have returned after 3-4 days. I also hostsed a family reunion 3 days after this procedure. I'm 2 months out and can't believe how great my clothes fit and being able to work out again knowing it's all good from here on out.

We were sent to Dr. Gallego from a local ENT doc that was not able to fix the damage that was caused from a tire blowing up in my other halfs face and shattered his nose 9 weeks before. The ENT doc called and we were able to get in the same day and were sent right over to his office. Dr. Gallego took the time to explain everything to us and give us the options that we had. A week later the surgery was done. The results are amazing, there is no more bump and his nose is as straight as it was before the injury. Even an hour after surgery there was less pain then what was there before surgery. I am able to pick up the phone and call the office and get any question I have anwsered. Dr. Gallego is an amazing doctor and we would go back to him in a heart beat! He is very caring and takes the time to make you feel comfortable. I am planning to have my breast enlarged and lifted in the next couple of years and I have found the doctor that will be doing it! I would send all of my friends and family to him.

I am a patient of Dr. Gallego. I am a 6 yr breast cancer survivor who waited 5 yrs for reconstructive surgery. I actually did shop around for a surgeon after my mastectomy. I went to Omaha for consults, but never felt like I was "special". I aways felt like I was just another "exam" or statistic. I do work in health care and know I would never treat my patients like this. I have never met anyone who cares so much about his patients and this community. I have seen many breast reconstructions but from other surgeons and must say I have felt sorry for some having to live with poor results. I know, first hand, that Dr.Gallego is a perfectionist with his surgeries. He's genuine and kind. We are blessed to have such a talented physician in our area. We are blessed to have you in our lives.

Not only was I a patient of Dr.Gallego but I also worked with him for over 5 years! He is one of the best & his work is truly art! He makes it a point to spend time with his patients and answer any questions they may have to ensure that they are comfortable and that their experience is nothing but the best! After my bilateral, I thought I could live life without breasts. Yet, everyday I would worry about what pads to wear; I realized I needed 'breasts' to fit into society. Dr. G was able to perform the reconstruction process over the course of a few months. He was always so precise in every detail of the procedure. Plus, he had an excellent bed side manner. Dr Gallego used to practice in Southern California (I use the term "practice" loosely, because it seems like he was doing just that... practicing).I had a lower eyelid procedure from Dr Gallego in early 2009. I am 35 and wanted to have a more refreshed and awake look - my lower eyelids were beginning to make me look tired.After meeting with numerous local plastic surgeons, I decided to move orward with Dr Kelly Gallego. He led me to believe that he was extremely experienced with lower eyelid blepharoplasty surgery an showed me lots of pictures of previous patients who had the same procedure.On the day of the surgery, Dr Gallego was late - this should have been my first sigh that I may have chosen the wrong surgeon. The procedure seemed to go well and I was fine through the 20 day recovery. Once the bruising was gone I could see that things had gone horribly wrong.I went in looking to get a more awake look because I had minimal bags developing under my eyes. Now I look like a cancer patient. I have severely hallow lower eyelids making me look sick and tired. Dr Gallego cut out all of the orbital fat in my lower eyelids - during the consultation, he said that he would be taking some out, but instead he cut out all of the fat - this fat does not grow back. At my 3-month follow-up I explained to Dr Gallego that I was extremely unhappy. He agreed that he did in fact take out too much lower eyelid fat, but refused to refund payment for me to apply to revisional cosmetic surgery. He did offer to give me Juvederm injections once at no cost, but I declined. I learned the hard way that he was a "Fast Food" plastic surgeon offering to do basically ANY procedure just to get your money.The right thing to do would have been to perform the procedure delicately, and if he were to remove ANYTHING, to do it sparingly as he stated in the consultation.If you are considering ANY procedure, PLEASE go to a specialist. Doctors like Kelly Gallego have no expertise in ANY field and will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get you to give over your money. Learn from my mistake and stay away from Dr Kelly Gallego - this has been the worst decision of my life and it effects me every day.

Dr. Gallego was the third plastic surgeon that I had spoken to regarding my tummy tuck. The difference between Dr. Gallego and the rest of the docs is that Dr. Gallego made me feel completely comfortable and demonstrated his concern about the procedure. He took his time to explain everything and was very personable in doing so. After surgery, he was available for any questions, day or night, and scheduled my post-op visits in a timely matter. I highly recommend Dr. Gallego to anyone looking to have a caring, professional doctor who does a fantastic job! I am extremely happy with my results!
