Dr. Kelly Jo Tomasic, MD

This doctor will not release a patients medical records for the family to collect on her life insurance-what does she have to hide that she is not releasing the requested records?

Our family is going through a very traumatic death of my sister at the age of 57 from a heart attack. Dr. Tomasic did not sign the death certificate and left on vacation! Instead of being able to make arrangements for my sister she is in limbo until Dr. Tomasic signs the death certificate 13 days after her death! This is inexcusable! I had to at least choose 1 star for this rating to be submitted-I don’t think she deserves any stars!

I always get the time and answers , that I need from Dr Kelly.

I admit I haven't spent much time reviewing doctors online in the past, but really felt compelled to write today. I just returned from taking my elderly Mom to a visit with Dr. Tomasic, who unadmitedly used her lunch hour to squeeze in this emergency appointment. (1. NOT too common these days) Mom had a long list of issues that were not really handled by an emergency room visit a few nights ago, so Dr. spent almost an hour with us going through them one by one to reach a solution for each. (2. You read that correctly. One hour. ) When we had a plan to move forward with medications, tests and referrals, etc..., an office staff member, Liz, used time from her lunch period to give me a technology lesson on how to use the My Chart app on my phone. (3 Not something I was expecting or have commonly seen in the way of an employee going above and beyond) If this type of caring and service is as important to you as it is to me, look no further in your physician search. The wait time was short today for us, but if it had been longer it would have been worth the wait.

Dr Tomasic exceeded my expectations in all the standards, she is definitely a 5 star! I am so very thankful to have found such a well trained knowledgeable physician. I transferred to Dr. Tomasic when my physician unexpectedly retired after years of service. She made this transition very comfortable and she was interested in my medical history, needs and condition. She explored options and questions to find an answer and was very appropriate in her mannerisms as a medical professional. Her referrals for additional medical treatment seem to be very informed and accurate. I also have additional family members who use Dr. Tomasic now and they are very satisfied. Her confidentiality, medical judgment, and ease of making a patient feel comfortable are truly admirable. I have full confidence medically and personally in this doctor. Her office staff are very helpful to your needs. When calling in for an appointment or prescription renewal, there is no delay. I would recommend her!

She is too young and too timid be an effective physician to a patient in crisisfective physician to a patient in crisis

Dr. Tomasic is a very pleasant person and shows genuine concern for her patients' health and well-being. We had actual discussions over the course of my care and she listened to and took into consideration my thoughts and opinions as well. She also has very early office hours available, which helps with my work schedule.

I never go to the doctors. My father and brother died young, and so have most of the men on both sides of my family, and that has created a paranoia in me, especially as I get older. It hasn't helped matters that some of the doctors I have been to come off cold and aloof about my concerns. That was not at all the case with Dr. Tomasic. I really got the sense that she cared and would fix what was wrong, even if she had to perform miracles! She took the time to explain everything in the most friendly and warm way that you can imagine, and when I left her office, I really felt good about life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Dr. Tomasic is very easy to talk with about your medical symptoms. She has a warmth and ease about her that makes it very easy to just speak with her about what is wrong. She listens and explains very well what she is going to do. It is not easy to go to the doctor. It is very expensive, and if you have no insurance you cannot really afford it, but she tries to help you with that as well so you can get care too. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Tomasic. She is a true asset, and Alliance is lucky to have her.
