He has put tubes in for both my 1 and 3 year old. He is so gentle and calm and really explains things. I have been thoroughly impressed.

Got out of surgery to be told by Dr. Hughes he couldn't fix my problem and would need a surgery later down the road. In addition to paying for the surgery that didn't do anything, Lexington Clinic hit me with a "New Patient Fee" of over $200. An outrageous amount which I was told "every doctor's office does" (TOTAL LIE) Very Very Very unhappy and was close to filing an official complaint.

I was his last patient of the day, and with genuine sincerity and empathy, he treated me as if I were an 8 AM appointment. Evidently my hearing loss is severe, and he promised me no miracles, but explained every option with the sincerity of a professional who inspires trust. He answered every question and not once hurried me along. I cannot thank him enough for the hope he inspired, whether the treatments work or not. Even if the prognosis isn’t glowing, Dr. Hughes is the specialist you’d want to hear it from.

Turbinate surgery can cause Empty Nose Syndrome, a horrible painful condition. Do not let a doctor talk you into this surgery.

Dr. Hughes is very professional, shows true concern. I would have given him five stars for bedside manner if I could. He can talk on all levels, to share understanding. I like him much better then the doctor I was seeing prior. Who was a good doctor but with no bedside manner at all. Makes a big difference to me.
