You are working for Virginia Mason Hospital now, that is very interesting.

He had a charming bedside manner but when I needed help with my abdominal pains he kept reassuring me it is only stress. I had to have an emergency appendectomy because he didn’t think I needed any imaging in 2010. Now I had my second Adhesiolysis in my RLQ. This time it almost ruined my ureter and my intestines. I had to have a complete hysterectomy. Don’t be fooled by his fake bedside manner. He ruined my life

A patients doctor

He has been my mom's doctor since 2010, after her last doctor overmedicated her and she was hospitalized for congestive heart failure, barely able to walk. That was when I asked the nurses who they'd recommend and his name came up. Since then she has had minimal problems and if something arises, he is quick to diagnose it and nip it in the bud. He follows through with phone calls and I am never left hanging. He also doesn't believe that more medication is always better. He looks at the whole picture. I can't say enough good things about this doctor. I've gotten my husband to see him as well. I'm so glad he didn't retire!!!

Dr. Shibata ia a very caring Dr. Takes all the time I need when I have a visit. Would referr him to anyone looking for a good Dr.

In all my years of being cared for, Dr. Shibata, stands alone. For many wonderful reasons, I stand firmly on he being the best medical provider I have ever had. He was recommended internally from a co-worker. I want to pass Dr. Shibata on to those, perhaps not so fortunate, to get the opportunity to get quality health care. Dr. Shibata is tremendously gifted and has a love for people. Absolutely, a gift and the only doctor I can say worth our system. In many ways, he has saved my life. A true friend and professional. Most never call their doctor a friend. We don't hang out or anything. He is just someone I trust with my life. That is bigger than life. Thanks Doc!
