I have been a patient of Dr. Sykes since he started at the Bone and Joint clinic in Columbia, TN. He is definitely knowledgeable about my back problem and has helped me by doing ablations on the affected area. While I still have some pain, this procedure allows me to "have a life". I am able to manage my home and pets and also take care of the house. Without the intervention the pain is horrible. Dr. Sykes listens and does a thorough examination. He is definitely a kind and caring physician. I am very grateful for the care he provides.

He was very nice and took time to explain things to me and his nurses were very helpful as well.I would like him to keep being my specialist when needed for this disk disease.

He did a great job on the surgery and said I am healing nicely...however on my 10 day post surgical visit yesterday I told him I was still in a lot of pain and asked for 3 days of norco to help me, he refused. Said I didnt need pain meds...I still have stitches and the pain is an 8, I am not very happy with him right now and am very uncomfortable.

You told me I would be awake and if I was I don't remember being so. You told me I might have a little discomfort. I didn't. Thank you for being honest and for doing your best to prepare me for the worst. I got the best instead. I remember the first shot in my IV, and nothing else until I was told it was over and to set up. Thank you so much, for treating a very scare old women and not giving up on her. I appreciate your kindness and all of your staff's kindness. I promise I will not be as scared the next time I see you. You are one of the good ones and I will tell everyone I see that you are. I have already praised you on Facebook and will continue to do so. Thank you again.
