Dr. Kevin Meyers performed a colonoscopy on me in May 2021, in which he removed polyps. He called me ten days later to tell me that the polyps were cancer and that "we" had "a problem" because he had not marked/tattooed inside my colon to show where the polyps came from. He scheduled me for another colonoscopy that same week to try to find any remaining scabs or scars. He did the second colonoscopy and then another and could find no scabs or scars to show where the polyps came from. Needless to say, I changed doctors, and had half my colon removed. Then the billing started. I and my insurance company were billed for the first and second/third colonoscopy and all labwork. After insurance had paid, we paid the balance due on everything except the second/third colonoscopy because that was totally the result of Dr. Meyers' mistake and should not have even been billed to the insurance company. We called and wrote the office explaining why we would not pay. They continued to bill us. We just received a letter and they have now turned us over to a collection agency... for $68.69 that we refused to pay Dr. Meyers on the second/third colonoscopy. It's a shame no one was this concerned about how my colon surgery and recovery has been. Beware, and check all the ratings you can find.

Diagnosed my serious illness with which I had been suffering for over 6 weeks. Very attentive and serious in his "bulldog" approach to finding an answer. I was hospitalized at the time and what a comfort he was!..I highly recommend him and his expertise.

I presented to Dr. Kevin Meyers with some very complicated medical issues. He is highly intelligent and worked diligently with me to find answers to my problems. He took plenty of time with me to explain my condition, plan of care, and to answer all of my questions is a manner that the layperson can understand. He has stuck with me through some tough times.
