Excellent care and service. Dr. Kevin Shandera Is sharp, kind and caring.

Dr Shandera is friendly, personable and easy to talk with. He listens and gives advice and I had no problem addressing my issues when I saw him. He gave me a detailed urology- pelvic examination which included urine culture results right away. I am glad to have him as one of my physicians @Eisenhower. His office staff attentive, ask questions to help make visit with doctor valuable and they are compassionate to your needs.

I went to see Dr. Shandera after visiting the other Urology clinic in the valley. And the reason I came to see Dr. Shandera was that I did not feel comfortable being in the hands of the other urologist. From the first time I met him, he has always been extremely professional, friendly and very polite. He is a good listener which is not always a quality you find in many a doctors today. He explained everything to me, offered me various options. He let me know what he would recommend but ultimately the choice was mine. I opted for the GreenLight Laser Therapy. It went very smoothly and I am ecstatic with the results. I cannot imagine how any other urologist could have done better. I will always be indebted to him.

Dr Shandera performed by surgery on an outpatient situation including a urethra sling. I couldn’t be happier! Thank you doctor for a great job.

Amazing experience with Dr Shandera treating my cycstocele. I am 2 days out of surgery, no pain, and I can stop peeing after I start! Haven't been able to do that in years. Healing so fast. Dr Shandera is very kind, gentle, and I found him humorous, he answered all my questions in a way I could understand. I had a postop question in the evening and his service got him on the phone immediately, I didn't even have to wait for him to call back. I highly recommend him for female urinary problems.

If you want an arrogant doctor who does not listen to you, pick this guy. He will dismiss anything you say and will make fun of your research. He figures you got your information from Google and figures that you know less then he because he is a urologist. He specializes in female urology. I wanted to see about Urolift. He doesn't like it, feels it is the least effective treatment for BPH but did not tell me why.

Outstanding knowledge about cause and cure for post-prostatectomy incontinence. Takes the time to ensure that you understand the conversation and the recommended course of action.

Explained the procedure and what we were looking for. I was able to view the procedure on the computer screen and Dr. Shandera explained what I was viewing. Suggested the best treatment for my case.

Having recently moved from the City of Angeles to the Coachella Valley, I was still making the drive to LA to take care of medical needs at UCLA! When I suddenly discovered a woman's issue that needed the help of a urologist, I decided to take the advice of friends who suggested I see Dr. Shandera before I make another 135 mile drive to my old "home"! From the minute I walked up to the front desk until I left the doctor's office 60 minutes later, I knew I was in the right place. Because of Dr. S's professionalism and his comforting manner, I didn't hesitate to schedule the procedure he recommended and I did it just a few days. From two minutes til two weeks later I have felt perfect and the issue has been solved. Dr. Kevin Shandera definitely deserves 6+ stars!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Shandera placed a sling on my urethra and my leakage problems were solved! It was a quick outpatient procedure. He patiently listened to my issue and explained several options. His staff are well trained and very discreet.

This was the 1st visit with Dr Shandera. I found him to be a listener and a caring person. Faced me and was not using a computer where all you saw was a back. Happy with the visit

Dr is very rude, egomaniac, with a superiority complex. Does not listen to patient about symptoms, or provide proper scans. His cavalier patient approach led to the death of a family member that could have easily been prevented by listening to the patient and providing the proper scan. Tragic. Needs to check his ego and revisit the Hippocratic oath.

Was very impressed with the time he spent with me and made me feel like i had input to my treatment. He offered his opinion, which I value, but he also wanted my input on my treatment. Would strongly recommend Dr Shandera. Thank you.
