I had so much pain and was close to not being stable enough to walk anymore. Dr. Vaught said he could help me with fusing the joint. I spent the night in hospital needed no pain medicine next morning could not wait to go home. I had restrictions and did what they told me and had no problems at all. Dr. Vaught and his staff are always willing to listen and my treatment was excellent. Thank you!

Says he is here to serve you, but is rude and makes you feel stupid for asking questions. Heaven forbid you ask for clarification. I would not recommend this doctor if you want to have a doctor that takes his practice and ethical oath seriously. Doctors are here to provide information and it’s seems that Kevin Vaughn lacks that fundamental skill!

After suffering with lower back pain, I was referred to Dr Vaught. He performed surgery and I was pleasantly surprised with quick relief from pain! I found him to be cooperative and interested in my concerns. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Vaught Understand your pain. You can talk and understand what he is talking about and makes you feel comfortable with your decisions.

Dr. Vaught and his staff are great. They always took the time to explain things to me and answer any questions I had. I was always treated with courtesy and respect. I feel like I received great care.

Dr Vaught is a wonderful surgeon he did 4 back surgeries on me and I am not having any pain now. He does needs to work on his bedside manners.

A good rating for Dr. Vaught could only come from a one time/first time patient. If the word "multiple" could be multiplied that may get close to explaining the different moods one might witness as a patient of Dr. Vaught's. Unbelievable mood swings, explosive temperaments, horrible comforting skills are just a few of Dr. Vaught's visits. If a doctor is in a profession and he tells a patients that he often changes lives for the worse, then that doctor is in the business for the money alone not for the livelihood of his patients. Dr. Vaught in my opinion has the worse bedside manner of any doctor I have ever been to, simply asking questions sets him off. It appears to me that he feels any questions about the problems I experience makes him feel you are questioning his intellect.

Excellent Doctor and staff very knowledgeable the surgery was a great success. Doctor did a great job I would recommend to all my family and friends.

Dr. Vaught is truly a gifted and caring neurosurgeon. After rupturing a disc while out of town, I called Dr. Vaught. He made time in his schedule to see me in the office on the day of my return to Cape Girardeau. I had my disc surgically repaired less than one week later. He followed up with me regularly during my rehabilitation and I am now fully recovered. I am grateful for the exceptional care and kindness that I received from Dr. Vaught and his staff.

Listening to Dr. Vaught explain my problems and what he could do to correct them and stop my pain, I felt that I could trust him with this very serious situation. I am very pleased with the result of my surgery.

I was very impressed with Dr. Vaught and all of his staff. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and seemed to genuinely care. He spent a great amount of time with me explaining my procedure and what it would entail and was very patient with any questions or concerns that I or my husband had. He came highly recommended to me by a friend of mine and I have since recommended him to several of my friends. If I ever have a need for a neurosurgeon in the future the choice will be easy for me.

He is very professional. No nonsense. Cares about his patients and wants the best for them. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have went to several physicians in my lifetime and also worked in a medical environment my adult life. So am quite used to how medical offices and staff present and run offices Dr Vaughts office is one of the best I have had or had association with. All my visits in his office has been pleasant from the beginning to end. Reception was quick and friendly, the wait for practically none, Dr Vaughts medical assistant,Stephanie,is wonderful. If I called and left messages, she always called back before day was over and answered my questions or helped me with my need. Of course, Dr Vaught is great. I was in so much pain when I first started there and thanks to his surgery to my back and neck I am pain free. Dr Vaught always came in and talked with you and answered all questions. I could rant on and on; but anyone needing a neurosurgeon I would 100% refer to his office.

Dr. Vaught and staff were very concerned about my condition and took all measures to relieve the pain I was having. Surgery was the last on the list and after all other procedures were performed, they consulted with me on the surgery process and all that was involved. It was a simple decision to make and I'd do it again with this staff. Thanks for giving me back my way of life without pain

The staff at Regional Brain and Spine is friendly and accommodating. Dr. Vaught did a great job repairing a herniated disk in my lower back and I am on my way to a full recovery.
