Dr. Khader K Abounasr, MD

Seeing Dr. in Claremont is a better experience, then it is in the Rancho Cucamonga office. The staff has been on top of everything that I have had to have done since I started going to the Claremont office. Dr does not seem to be as rushed during your appointment in this office. I will continue to go to the Claremont office for services.

Dr. Abounasr was my doctor at Pomona Valley Hospital and treated me for blood clots in my leg and lung. I have also visited him for one office visit thus far.

First appointment, o.k...scheduled a sleep study, then follow up. Second visit, as I waited, I heard Dr. Abounasr joking around with the back office staff. Why was I waiting? Once in the office, he explained the results finding sleep apnia. His office got a referral for CPAP equipment. It took over two months for his staff to fax over information to get the equipment delivered. His office staff lied to me every time I called about getting the equipment. Their incompetence should get them fired. But I guess they are good for joking around, so he keeps them on the payroll.

Very unprofessional. I heard him on more than one occasion divulging protected health information within earshot of other patients, myself included. He did not put me at ease, nor did he take the time to answer all the questions I had.

I am a 72 year old woman and this is the nicest doctor I have ever met. He is very knowledgeable and up to date with his treatments. He really listens to you, answers questions and explains things.
