Dr. Khalid Yousuf, MD

I was referred to Dr. Yousuf by my life-long friend who had nothing but praise for him and his staff. Prior to the day of my surgery, I had never met Dr. Yousuf. I had only seen his P.A. When he entered my room the day of my procedure, I knew he was the Dr. for me. He was calm and engaging and you could sense the amount of concern he had for his patients. Dr. Yousuf's main objective was to impart a positive outcome for you. He will always be my hero.

I had a full hip replacement surgery about 9 weeks ago. Dr. Yousuf did an amazing job. I was stunned at how quickly I was back up and around. I was able to work from home and was able to do some of my desk work as early as the day after surgery. I was up and walking without any assistance (walker or cane) in about four days. I only took prescription pain meds for about 5 days. 9 weeks later I am jogging a bit again and have no pain whatsoever. Not 100% recovered yet, but getting there fast. Everyone who helped me with physical therapy told me that Dr. Yousuf is the best. I agree. If you ever need this surgery done, Dr. Yousuf is the man to go to.

This surgery is one I am so glad I had. The pain afterward was well controlled until it disappeared. I was off the walker in two weeks and using a cane. I continued with it for another week at home then used it only when leaving the house. Walking without it was easy. Friends and family can't seem to say enough about how well and quickly I recovered. Pain is gone, I no longer limp and my posture has improved a lot. I am very happy about everything.

Dr Yousuf performed a complete hip replacement for me 2 years ago and I couldn't be happier. I felt he took time to explain everything very well, was personable and helped me feel comfortable with my decision to have this surgery. Everything went as he described and the folks he recommended for Rehab were also fabulous. I am now back golfing and bike riding, something I thought I'd never do again.

Dr Yousuf took the time to walk me through my options, preventive care and how to mitigate risk. Not your usual doctors visit of whisking you in and out but actually sat and talked with me. The conversation alone was well worth the price of the visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Yousuf to anyone!

Young doctor who practices classic good bed side manner. Many young doctors have forgotten how to treat patients. He had not. Dr yousuf is trustable, well trained, and a great human being.

Doc is not only a awesome doctor, he is kind, thoughtful and highly respected by his peers. My insurance had changed, I said a prayer looked at a couple of profiles and then selected Dr. Yousuf, I was in extreme pain with no end in my immediate site. Thanks to Doc, I have been referred to other excellent doctors in my network and we all are working out some things. I'm confident that im in good hands!

I would highly recommend Dr. Yousuf. Dr. Yousuf is professional, caring, and personable. I did quite a bit of research while helping my mom choose an orthopedic surgeon. As a healthcare provider myself, I was not only impressed by Dr. Yousufâ??s credentials, but also by the number of positive patient reviews he has received. After our initial consult, I knew we found the right doctor for my mom. My mom ended up having a total knee replacement, and she couldnâ??t be happier with the results. Thus far we have already recommended Dr. Yousuf to numerous friends and family members. My mom is in her early 50â??s and had been experiencing quite a bit of knee pain for the past few years resulting from osteoarthritis. Dr. Yousuf spent a great deal of time evaluating my mom and discussing treatment options. I was incredibly impressed by the personalized treatment plan Dr. Yousuf created for my mom. In addition to osteoarthritis, my mom also has alignment issues. Given that my momâ??s case was a bit unique, he recommended some additional imaging to assist him with deciding how to best place my momâ??s new knee, and he also selected a knee with a rotating platform. After my momâ??s first appointment with Dr. Yousuf, my mom said, â??I feel like he really cares.â?? And the truth is, Dr. Yousuf really does care about his patients and their surgical results. The results of my momâ??s surgery have been remarkable. My mom was able to walk with a walker hours after her surgery. During the surgery, Dr. Yousuf injected a cocktail of pain medications around my momâ??s knee, and as a result, my mom experienced minimal pain following her surgery. She received in-home physical therapy for a week following her surgery. Since my mom was doing so well, she was able to start outpatient PT after just one week. Every physical therapist who has helped to treat my mom has remarked that my mom must have had a great surgeon to be doing so well so soon after surgery. My mom will eventually need to have her other knee replaced. There is no doubt that we will be scheduling this surgery with Dr. Yousuf. Thank you, Dr. Yousuf!

He is a very compassionate doctor.

Dr. Yousuf performed a complete knee replacement for my grandmother earlier this year. She was very nervous about the surgery, but Dr. Yousuf was very understanding and thorough in explaining and answering all her questions. Her surgery was successful and she is receiving compliments from her physical therapist as well as her other physicians regarding how well and quickly she is recuperating. She is scheduled for her second knee later this year and would only trust Dr. Yousuf to perform this surgery! He is the best!

The doctor explained everything to my daughter and I about my upcoming knee replacement. He has a great staff who coordinate all the necessary items around a joint replacement. They have thought of everything and set it up. Very impressive. I am confident that if he has thought of these things, then for sure he has enough experience to do a good job.

discussed my xr and showed me why my knee hurts. injected my knee and prescribed a topical pain cream. I will knee a knee replacement in the future. i am 70 years old and i won't delay it too long. but i dont want it now. he didn't pressure me into any decision. he wanted me to feel comfortable and take my pain away. he recommended this cream and gave me a shot. i like being in control. he is young, smart, very caring, and *cute*.
