Dr Kraig K Solak

I saw him for a knee issue I was having. He makes you feel like you are wasting his time. I also got the feeling that he was more worried about making sure that my injury wouldn't be covered by workers compensation than actually treating me.

If there are any negative comments on this Doctor, I wouldn't understand why. I'm in Law Enforcement, so my knee is kind of important! I shredded my ACL in late August. He did a great job!! He operated on my wife's knee first on a torn meniscus. She recovered so well I had to go with him! If you can be sure of something, it is that he is a great surgeon!!!!

I saw dr. Solak for severe knee pain..he took fluid from my knee and told me it was arthritis and acted like I was wasting his time...his bedside manner was horrible. On my follow up visit he spent 2 minutes with me...my pain was very bad to the point that walking was an issue...he was rude....never looked at my knee and made comments that I didn't quite understand. I told him the pain was very bad and he said...its only been 4 weeks....he has no compassion and I would not go back to him or ever recommend him to anyone.

After meeting this MD for only 15 minutes and being examined without regard or care to my injury, I was informed I needed surgery. This Doctor did not answer many questions, including what alternative treatment would be available as this surgery would be long and painful recovery. I got a second opinion and found I not only didn't need surgery, but it was contraindicated and I would have lost more function than I had gained back. Be Very Wary of this person.

I saw Dr.Solak for a torn meniscus caused by a freak accident. I am a runner. Dr. Solak works for a "sports medicine" practice. He repeatedly tried to discourage me from running, even though my injury was not caused by running. I think he's a good dr., however after two of my friends had bad experiences with him where he attempted to discourage them from running- I would never recommend him to another runner. If you are not a runner- he will fix you up! If you are- BEWARE! he is not "runner-friendly."
