I am 76 years old and started falling almost two years ago for unknown reasons. I broke 6-7 different ribs during that time and got bruised and skinned up as a result. I went to see a neurologist, and he recommended Dr Satyan to do surgery on my brain. Dr Satyan put in a shunt to drain excess fluid from my brain to my stomach. The excess fluid was creating imbalance issues. I had my two-week visit with Dr Satyan two days ago, and the results are amazing. Dr. Satyan is a brilliant surgeon. Before his spinal cord surgery, my husband was quickly on his way to paralysis. Dr. Satyan diagnosed the problem quickly and performed long, complicated surgery almost immediately - during the worst part of the COVID-19 shutdown. Today, three weeks post-surgery - after a week at UT Southwestern Neuro Rehab plus a week of in-home therapies, he is 85% back to normal with a prognosis of 100% in a few more weeks. We are tremendously grateful to Dr. Satyan.

Dr. Satyan did decompression surgery and fusions for me 2.5 years ago with great results. He is kind, courteous, thorough in his explanations, shares my imaging in a big screen monitor so that I can clearly see the problem areas. He converses in language understandable to the layman and always gives time for my questions and concerns. I am having a second surgery with him in less than 2 weeks.

Performs surgery then just sends you on your way. Does not deal with post surgery issues. Tells you to go to other doctors to figure problems out.
