She and her staff are lovely to deal with. She is caring and straight forward and has such a great way of putting me at ease.

I've been a patient here for a while and I'm struggling with menopausal symptoms. Dr. Shaneyfelt is kind and listens to me. She has made many suggestions that have made this transition easier for me and my family! And I think that her staff is attentive and efficient. I would absolutely recommend Her without reservation.

No way. I agree with the forty-year old. The girls in that office are AWFUL. I am perimenopausal and Shaneyfelt wasn't very nice, or gentle. Oh she "looks good" and tries to sound like she knows...but it's a front. Those people kept having me in for repeat procedures, ugh. Be careful, they use your records to better THEMSELVES.

Dr. Shaneyfelt is fantastic! She is a wonderful doctor and surgeon and a kind,caring person.

It is very difficult to find someone to take care of your medicalneeds, but also the medical needs of your unborn child. New to the area, I chose Dr. Shaneyfelt as my obstetrical provider. Her compassion and care for a first time nervous mother was exactly what I was looking for. She always made me feel comfortable and never hesitated to take the extra time to answer my questions. Her staff was always more than accommodating to compromise with my hectic schedule. I would recommend her care to anyone lookin for a new doctor!

I've been seeing Dr Shaneyfelt for over 2 years now, and am sorry to be just be getting around to writing a review. She is extremely knowledgable, friendly and always makes me feel comfortable. I have recommended her to several friends who have since started seeing her and feel the same way. There have been a couple occasions I have had more questions and she's patiently answered them all, and made sure I understood her answers. I always get a phone call with results, either from her or her staff. The staff is always accommodating and friendly, I never have to wait long to get an appointment, or long in the office. It's so nice to see friendly faces at what can sometimes be an unpleasant appointment! I would absolutely recommend Dr. Shaneyfelt!

Dr. Shaneyfelt from the first visit made me incredibly comfortable in what can otherwise be awkward visits. She is extremely knowledgable and always takes the time to discus multiple options with me and listen to my concerns, ideas in order to make individualized care that I am happy with. I would recommend her to anyone!

She is very loud, abrupt and rough. Does not respect us 40-somes. Her staff is just as rude and condescending, and spoke to me as if I was a "child." I actually "caught" a few of them making fun of me. I wouldnt waste my time with this one.

I have a medical history riddled with bad doctors with poor bedside manner. I had a high risk pregnancy due to pre-existing type 1 diabetes (also following a miscarriage) which had me extremely worried and stressed about carrying the baby healthily to term. Dr Shaneyfelt was amazing. Her bedside manner made me feel safe in her hands. I had an issue with one of the insulins I was on (it was putting me into comas) and wanted to switch back to an insulin that worked for me but was not yet approved for use in pregnancy. Dr Shaneyfelt (during our appointment, without a second's hesitation) called the medical board to see if there were any negative side effects. When she learned they had been studying my insulin for five years in pregnancy, with absolutely no negative side effects, she agreed that I could switch back. (the insulin was officially approved for use in pregnancy six months later) She made me feel capable and confident in a time when I was petrified and insecure. I trusted her judgement (which is saying a whole lot because I do not trust doctors in general) when I was in 21 hours of labor and needed an emergency c section- not because the doctors were tired of waiting for baby to come, but because my baby was in distress and needed to come out. I was pre-eclamptic and my child didn't have a soft spot on her head so wouldn't have been able to come down the birth canal on her own. She stayed two hours past the end of her shift while I was in labor because she knew how nervous I was about having a c section (afraid of infections due to low immune system). Dr Shaneyfelt made me feel calm while I was being cut open. During my pregnancy, Dr Shaneyfelt went above and beyond her call of duty numerous times and is the first doctor that I've ever recommended to friends and family. Honestly. She is amazing.
