Dr. Kristin Clingman Spencer, MD

I visited Dr. Spencer for what turned out to be gout. I found Dr. Spencer to be very friendly and professional. I was pleased with my visit.

My child was seen by Dr.Spencer and was told repeatedly by my husband that my child could not have Amoxicillin. She prescribed her Augmentin, which is the brand name of Amoxicillin. Very concerned that the doctor apparently was unaware of this important fact. Thank goodness the pharmcy was aware of this fact and were able to resolve this issue without any harm being done.

Dr. Spencer is the definition of corrupt medicine. She tried to perform an excessive amount of tests on me to run up my bill. She took 45 minutes just to diagnose my husband with a sinus infection. She kept insisting to get a "RECTAL" exam on me to test my stool for blood. Ok, here's medicine 101. If you are having light green diarrhea, not black stool, there is no reason to test for that. And yes, I am a RN. She also wanted to do blood work on me and swab my throat for strep. No, I wasn't symptomatic. And no, there were no symptoms to rule out other than my throat was sore from vomiting a lot with an obvious stomach bug. I am also very disgusted in how she treats her staff. Sitting in the exam room waiting for her, cause she can't move her butt, I can hear her rude comments to the staff. I forgot to mention a new medication I was on and she jumped on her staff accusing them of not doing their job. For all of this, I would never recommend her to anyone ever.
