Dr. Kurt Alan Wiese, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Wiese since 2012. He delivered my baby in 2013. He was extremely attentive to me post delivery, visiting 2 days in a row and just chatted with me to keep me company for a bit. He is a great doctor. Chill, laid back, funny, and not afraid to give you the straight dope. He is attentive, easy to get an appointment with, and as thorough as you need him to be. He's also one of the very few doctors that I've seen that I just wanted to come in and talk to about some options versus having to go through hoops and exams just for a conversation. I suffered with severe post partum bleeding for a year and Dr. Wiese was able to give me a 20 minute procedure that was life changing. Dr. Wiese is one of the best doctors I've ever had and I recommend him to everyone.

Read reviews. Not really sure what people are looking for. Dr Wiese has always been right on the mark in treating Me, my daughter and my daughter-in-law.

If you’re expecting someone that oozes with medical speak every time he opens his mouth, this is not your kind of guy. He is old-school, meaning most everything is done through paperwork. Don’t expect him to walk into the exam room with his laptop and start asking you to describe all your symptoms while he types away. You won’t get a sheet of paper telling you what to expect between now and your next visit when he’s finished. What you will get, is a guy who runs his own small office. His medical assistant, scheduling receptionist, and billing receptionist are all competent and very easy to talk to. His office and exam rooms are always clean. There are pros and cons to this set-up, depending on how you look at it. So far it’s worked for us. Do we wish certain aspects were different? Yes. But this is a doctor’s office we are talking about, not a fast food restaurant.

If you are looking for a doctor who is polite, has good bedside manners and is calm, this might not be a good doctor for you to use. Don’t settle.

Dr. Wiese is an amazing Physician and took great care of me..His staff is kind and efficient, and his Medical Assistant Sam is AWESOME!!

This Doctor is great. I've never waited in the waiting room for my appointment. Dr. Weise is friendly, knowledgeable, and spent time with me. He made me feel very comfortable and made sure all my questions were answered. Very happy with this Dr.

I have been seeing Dr. Weise for over 7 years. I have had four miscarriages which he had been there for all four. He even performed surgery on my with my last one. I did my regular check up visits such as Pap smears and breast exams with him also. Well my last time seeing him was 2 months ago discussing birth control. Then I had made an appt. 1 month later to discuss changing my birth control and he couldn't remember me?? I was shocked to say the least! He had said I'm sorry I just don't remember you it's nothing personal.... I started crying immediately because I had been my through so much with this Dr. And he couldn't remember me? It was really odd. I look exactly the same as I did 7 years ago..

Dr. Wiese is the best doctor I have ever had. I could see how some people can find him abrasive or non-compassionate but that is so untrue. Dr. Wiese is very blunt and tells things straight but he does so as a caring and honest doctor. His prenatal care was excellent. He visited me twice after my baby was born and stayed to visit for a while. Any other doctor would just be in and out. I am having some issues now and had to see Dr. Wiese again. I was easily able to get consultation. Any other doctor would make you jump through hoops or make you go through unnecessary exams just to talk to then! Not Dr. Wiese. He was more than happy to sit and talk to me about my issue. I am so glad I stumbled upon Dr. Wiese on a Google search. I am thankful for such a great doctor!

I think Dr Wiese is an amazing dr and surgeon. He diagnosed me with endometriosis after several failed attempts at the emergency room for extreme pain. My only complaint is his bedside manner left something to be desired. He was friendly enough, but still left me feeling a little akward. Overall he was a great dr. And I would highly recommend him.

Excellent doctor! He has delivered two of my children and is very open to having an all natural delivery, even if it's against standard practice. Was scheduled to be induced and even though the nurses all said it almost never works he agreed to only break my water and let nature take it's course before giving pitocin. 2 hours later I delivered 100% drug free. The only thing I wish would have been done differently is that instead of only visiting in the hospital I wish he would personally call a couple weeks after discharge just to check in. Which I'm sure doctors don't normally do anyway.

Dr. Wiese is exceptionally capable, thorough, knowledgeable and is an excellent OB/GYN. He is very protective of his patients and although he is laid back, this makes his approach to patient care refreshing and calming. So friendly, easy to talk to and always available for help, the wait time at the office is not too long and you will be well taken care of.
