I'm seeing Dr. Vera Trofimenko at the office. Went in for some Kidney Stone issue over the summer. Dr. Trofimenko was amazing, no messing around. Two CT's an Xray and a couple of Lab tests later I was in for surgery and 6 months of pain was gone in a week. During the follow up visit I told her about the TRT program I was doing, and she suggested I try a different method that they do in the office. I'm 4 months in, the results compared to the previous method are amazing. Dr. Trofimenko is one of those special doctors, always on it, amazing bed side manner and very knowledgeable in her field.

I saw Stacy today and she was fabulous. Love this doctor and her staff.

I was left in the waiting room, to be told the Tech doing the procedure did not want to do it. I asked if another Tech was available, NO. Asked to talk to Dr. I was told she was busy. No rescheduled by the office. I called back several times to talk to Dr. No call from her. I was told to schedule telehealth with her if I wanted to talk to anyone at her office. the procedure I went for was a biopsy. How do that with a phone appointment? Now I have to find another Dr. to take care of this. Please AVOID this Dr. Office. The staff is rude and Dr. Does not care about her Patients."

I was new patient of Dr Lamia Gabal-Shebab. On my 3rd appointment I was scheduled to have Biopsy. I was told by a staff member in the hallway the TECH has a problem and concerns with you. I ask to speak to the doctor I was told to wait in the lobby. I was embarrassed and angry. In the end I left the office ask the doctor to call me. I was referred by my Doctor. Later I call back the office was told I could schedule a telehealth phone appoint to talk to the doctor. I only can think if you a Guy avoid this office!

Very clinical, no bedside manner.

I have been with Dr Gabal for quite a while. She was always a caring doctor who took her time with me. The price for that was extremely high wait times but at least I felt that I had her attention and felt very comfortable. Then when she started using PAs and taking on more clients, restricting hours for certain procedures (BCG), I saw her less and less, still waited for appointments for her and she was always rushed. I now only see her for brief appointments and she never spends time asking any questions. She performs a cystoscopy and leaves. Never is there any discussion around any other medical issues that may be going on in my life. The last couple times, the staff didn't update my meds. It now takes months to get an appointment. I tried to have a conversation to ask questions and was blown off because she was running behind. She rescheduled the appointment because she thought I may have had an infection and wanted me to take antibiotics. She didn't have an opening for another month which meant I would have to go to another doctor to follow up on the infection to see if it was cleared up. Needless to say the customer care has deteriorated and I believe her focus is either elsewhere or she has over extended. Her staff used to understand the protocol for my treatment and would be able to call to schedule my appts but now I have to prod them to ask a nurse and it takes a couple days to call me back.

The office staff is rude because they are overwhelmed due to being understaffed. I was put on for over 40 minutes because of this problem. She shoves most of her patients off on her nurse practitioner. And only takes few patients in office. Her practice is a factory.

I found Dr. Gabal largely by good fortune. Briefly, I found her to be attentive, empathetic, thorough, informative, warm and respectful. The latter is particularly noteworthy since Dr. Gabal will discuss your issues and her findings fully, without dumbing it down, or condescending. She invites your questions, listens carefully and addresses them to your satisfaction. This is a skill wrought from genuine concern for her patients. (Not all doctors are as high-functioning when it comes to PATIENT CARE it safe to say.) From my first visit several months ago, I was most encouraged that I found a most capable doctor with whom I felt comfortable and confident in treating a most uncomfortable and chronic problem. She has not failed me. Her friendly staff supports her standards. I would, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Gabal.

She was busy but still made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I was scared for surgery but she did an excellent job and saved my life. She is an awesome urologist and I recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Gabal diagnosed me with Interstitial Cystiti, which was very scary for me. She guided me through the whole process, and made a scary situation comfortable in her professional and warm manner. She is extremely knowledgeable, and is always there for her patients with patience. I have recommended her to a couple friends as well as my gyn who was looking for a female urologist in this area. I can honestly say she is the best!
