Dr. Blankenship takes time to talk with his patients and help make them feel comfortable. The office staff needs major professional development on customer relations, including how to be pleasant and not rude to patients.

I cannot say enough good things about him. When other doctors gave up trying to figure out why I am in so much pain, he figured it out. None of them bothered to look at my tailbone and lower back because as they said "If it's the tailbone, there's nothing we can do." so they didn't. He looked and voila' there it was. Plus the 5 compression fractures the others missed. Yeah, that's why he's so popular, he's that good!!!!

Dr. Blankenship is the best. I lost my ability to walk for months! I fell and broke bones! The neurologist I saw at first was so unresponsive, and actually suggested I get a helmet. Dr. Blankenship diagnosed me right away. He is attentive and excited about helping his patients. Thanks to his expertise I am walking and working and feeling 80% better.

I am very grateful that I found my way to Dr. Blankenship. I did some internet searching to find the best neurologist in Anderson (he really is!) and that's what led the way. It took months to get in for a new patient appointment and that was a little frustrating, but I don't regret waiting. From the moment he walked in the exam room, I felt like I was in the best hands possible. Not only does he know what he is talking about (and clearly explains everything), but you can tell he GENUINELY cares about you as an individual. And everyone deserves a doctor like that!

Great doctor and wonderful staff! Everyone there makes you feel welcomed! You don't find that just everywhere!

He is a wonderful doctor, but his staff is horrible. They are rude, schedule you for an appointment but don't put you in the computer, don't refill prescriptions or make referral calls like you ask. Sorry but no matter how good a doctor is, you spend more time interacting with the staff. So, in other words, look elsewhere and save yourself a lot of anger and frustration.

I have had Parkinson's disease for over 15 years and have seen neurologists in Texas and Indiana, for a total of 4 neuro docs. Dr. Blankenship is the most attentive and knowledgeable providers I have had. Not only that, he is friendlier than most. Office visits are short, but he seems to get the job done efficiently in that time. He does have a nurse practitioner who I have seen three times and she is extremely professional and has connected me with a lot of resources. I would recommend Dr. Blankenship to anyone.

Dr.was very interested in my immediate problem and wanted very much to help me. My case was a complex one, taking much of his time, but he truly seemed to want to ease my situation. He said he wouldn't stop until he had me well again. Very glad I went to him. Just his interest meant much to me, many times we don't get that interest from the doctors.

seen this man after a traumatic fall. tried to get help with multiple injuries. did not treat me as a whole. left me injured needing procedures.some was within his capabilities. he was nice enough but did not have enough trauma knowledge.. nor would listen or research the trauma aspect.

I owe Dr Blankenship a great deal. Dr Blankenship recommended after several spinals for pain due to my overweight condition made the suggestion of "Gastric Bypass," which I did and will always be grateful for his encouragement to futher investigate the possibilities and I have lost over 115 lbs. Thank you for the suggestion which no one else had ever talked to me about.

Other than waiting for 3 months to get into seeing him and then waiting for over an hour in the waiting room to get back to see him the visit was great. He listen to my issues and was very focused and ready to help relieve me of the pain.
